A gender ambivalent higanbana (spider lily) demon stuck in a cracked ball jointed doll. Izanagi's purpose is to lead those to the after life, fitting considering his current form is a doll that belonged to a young shrine maiden a few centuries ago (and therefor he's dressed like a shrine maiden!)
Can draw female or male; very androgynous naturally and doesn't have a personal preference (will often shift anatomy in order to make who ever he's trying to lure to the afterlife more comfortable).
Is not an insidious demon but doesn't quiet understand humans. He comes off as cold and unempathetic due to his lack of understanding but if explained in a way he can come to terms with he can easily be tricked into letting a ghost stay on earth for an extra century because they "forgot to turn the stove off" or something (i.e. pretty niave). Contrary to his claims and behavior he DOES have human emotions, dreams, and feelings. He just applies them in an unnatural and often dated way (i.e. he understands ancient principals of honor and obediance but modern preferences for freedom and things like cell phones are confusing to him)
4'5", petite, looks like he's barely 20 but is actually a few centuries old. Made of cold hard porcelain but appears fleshy at will. He trieds to look more human when collecting human spirits otherwise find him lounging around the forgotten shine he lives in (honestly does he even work anymore?)
Flustered and emotional drunk; in every day life he appears very coy, sensual, and cold but when he has a bit too much of that Good Good Offering Juice his face turns red and he acts like a dumb idiot.
Has fangs and a long pointed tongue; has 7 red eyes that are said to see 7 different things but what they exactly see changes depending on who you ask.
He once fell in love with a samarai and has a soft spot for warriors .
