A halfling child who just got orphaned, a ronin that got sad near drunk and an eccentric sea elf on a mission walk into a textile merchant who just got his goods stolen, what happens next might surprise you.
Shigechi sells textiles to tailors, or on the streets along with the clothes he got from the tailors or whatever other accessories he comes across. He also likes to do embroidery himself, and sometimes works on personal projects in secret when he has the time to.
While a bit apathetic at times, he's got a lot of friends and connections with those dealing in textiles, and despite appearances, he's very kind and caring, incredibly generous as well to his friends, that said... He's also known to be selling magic accessories or other items that he makes out to be a lot grander than they actually are, usually to people with a lot of money to spare. He rarely carries anything of actual value when it comes to said accessories, but he knows how to sell them, that said the textiles and clothes he sells are of high quality, perhaps not AS high quality as he makes them out to be, but definitely worth the money.
He would honestly be doing amazing financially if it wasn't for his more generous streak as well as the gay brainrot he gets when he's dealing with a crush, perhaps it's to keep it all balanced, and also just make him not be some rich bastard.
That said, Shigechi's gone through a lot in the past and he's only been going around as a merchant for about 12 years now, he's carrying around a lot of scars (literal and figurative) and trauma, which he got to relive as the party met him and dragged him with them into getting his stolen things back.
It made him grow a bit more of a spine as well as an idea of what to do, that said, every time the party sees him again, he ends up in trouble and in need of saving plus on top of that, often crying by the end of it.
Honestly, he's really not the type to cry fast or easy, they just keep hitting him with the past. He really loves them though, he does kind of owe them their life and all, but he would love some uneventful days again.
