Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade

"A tactician whose brilliance changed the course of history."

Found unconscious by Lyn on the plains of Sacae. They form a friendship and Lyn decides to leave her home to travel with Sparrow in hopes of avenging her tribe who had been murdered by bandits. But as fate would have it Lyn is actually the granddaughter of the Marquess of Caelin and they are targeted by bandits hired by her granduncle to kill her. Lyn, Sparrow and their comrades battle their way to the Castle of Caelin and defeat Lyn's granduncle, Lundgren. After the battle Lyn is reunited with her grandfather and decides to remain in Caelin with him. Sparrow continues her journey through Lycia.

One Year Later.

Sparrow is staying at an inn in a village in Pherae when a battle between Eliwood of Pherae and some bandits break out. Having met Eliwood during her journey with Lyn she offers her assistance to the lord and his group. After the battle Eliwood asks Sparrow to remain with the group and help them on his quest to find his father, the Marquess of Pherae. Sparrow agrees to travel with them as their tactician. Soon during another battle they encounter Hector of Ostia and his companions.

Lyn: Sparrow, what will you do when all the fighting has ended? Will you keep traveling to continue your training?
Sparrow: No, the harsh realities of this war have been more than enough to extinguish my passion for battle tactics. Countless tragedies, senseless loss of life... We've enured many hardships, but even so, I'm thankful to have met so many dear companions. Most of all I'm happy to have met you, Lyn.
Lyn: Sparrow… I'm happy to have met you too.
Sparrow: What will you do, Lyn?
Lyn: I plan to return to the plains. Not right away, but once affairs in Caelin are set in order. … …Sparrow, we have parted once, in my heart I knew we would meet again. I had faith in that. However, I regretted letting your leave without telling you how I felt. When we were reunited I promised myself I wouldn't let us part again. So please, when I return to the plains... Sparrow, will you return with me?
Sparrow: Lyn… Yes, of course!
Lyn: Ah…! Sparrow, why are you crying?
Sparrow: "I'm just so happy!!
Lyn: Me too.

ENDING OF LYN'S STORY:

(View of a sunset)

Lyn:
“Sparrow… you’re leaving, aren’t you? No, I’m not asking you to stay. It’s just… I’ll miss you. When I found you unconscious on the plains… I had no idea we would be together for so long. You’ve helped us so much, and I’m sure you’ve learned all you can from us. You’ll do just fine on your own. I have the utmost faith that you’ll be a master tactician, Sparrow. That’s from someone who’s seen you at work!”

(An illustration of Lyn)

Lyn:
“Well then, take care… I… I hope I see you again. I’m sure that I will someday…”

(Epilogue)

Sparrow, the Tactician

“Sparrow leaves Lyn to continue her training. She plans on traveling throughout Lycia. Lyn refuses to say good-bye, believing in her heart that she will see her again.”

Lyn, the Swordfighter from Sacae

“Lyn now lives with her grandfather as Lady Lyndis of Castle Caelin. Under her loving care, Lord Hausen recovers, and now the two of them go for many walks in the Caelin gardens.”

(An illustration of Lyn, viewing the sunset from a hill, with a horse beside her)

“On clear, dry nights, Lyn can be seen high atop a hill near the castle. Perhaps she is remembering the home of her youth, the plains of Sacae.”

Lyn and Sparrow return to the plains of Sacae. After some years they happen upon a small clan who was massacred. The only survivor being a young girl. They adopt her as their own.

They each have their own horse to ride across the plains. Lyn’s horse is named Wind’s Song. Sparrow’s horse is named Rain’s Lullaby. Their adpoted daughter’s horse is named Storm’s Ballad.

Trivia/Notes:
• The "original" Sparrow. She was created sometime in 2004 or 2005 most likely?
• Current design was finalized on August 11 2017.
