Jian is a chronic-illness fighter that started to play ELD as a way to keep her mind busy while she couldn't leave her bed. She lives with her mother, who is also her caretaker, and spends a lot of time in and out of the hospital trying to find a remedy for her illnesses. Though she currently doesn't have the strength or health to do so, one day Jian wants to go to med school and become a nurse.

In game Jian plays a healer named Jii-chan. She started off the game with no idea what she was doing, and met up with Ouska through a random group finder. She wasn't quite sure of herself, so Ouska taught her how to heal, and before long she became quite good at it. Jian is deeply in debt to another player for her wings (extremely expensive item that she made a deal for) so whenever she makes any gold she's always sending it over to him. It makes her feel nervous, but she loves her wings.
