The character adoptables I make are created by me, though you own it, I created it, therefore I have the freedom to use the character in any way I see fit, as long as it is within the characters personality. I am not allowed to resell a character adopt if you have adopted them already. You're not allowed to resell it or claim it as your own
The clothes I make are created by me. You DO NOT own the clothing, you just have permission to re-draw it, as long as you credit me for the design. Think of it as you're buying the outfit/top/trousers (etc) for personal use, like in the real world. You're not allowed to claim it as your own.
