As mischievous and sportsy teen, Melanie loves everything to do with winter weather and especially winter sports! She’s at home in her snowy town, being doted on, and spoiled, by her loving parents. When she’s not assisting her parents with their business, you can catch her on the slopes trying out whatever new tricks she can!

Personality
Melanie is generally quite cheerful! She gets the most enjoyment out of skiing or snowboarding down slopes with friends and occasionally family, but admittedly, she can take things too seriously and end up being a sore loser. Due to that, she generally sticks to trying things out on her own, only letting people watch her when she feels confident in her skills. Still, if things aren’t sports related, Melanie’s happy to spend time with others! You’ll often find her walking around town with friends enjoying sweet and warm treats.
Never one to stick to the worn path, Melanie is always inventing new tricks or finding new slopes to ski down, though she often ends up with quite a few bruises after misjudging a situation. Her creative thinking doesn’t just apply to sports though, she’ll often be the one to suggest new ways of approaching a situation to friends and family! Still, she isn’t the biggest fan of puzzles and prefers to approach things practically to get the best, most exciting results.

Skiing
Skiing is Melanie’s favorite sport! You can almost always find her going down the slopes and trying out new jumps.She loves feeling the cold winter wind on her face and feeling the snow crunch beneath her skis. While she prefers to be on her own while on the slopes, you can always catch up with her after and enjoy a nice cup of hot cocoa.
Snowboarding
When meeting her best friend Connor, one of the first things he told her was that he loves to snowboard. Melanie never tried snowboarding, but she wouldn't be Melanie if she wouldn't want to do it as well to prove everyone that she's good at it. Unfortunately, it's not that easy! Connor enjoys teaching snowboarding to Melanie, even though she's not the most patient student and gets upset easily because things don't work like she wants them to.
Creativity
The daughter of two artists, Melanie is definitely creative in her own ways! She’s always working on her tricks and coming up with new ways to have fun in the snow. She also enjoys making funny snowmen, and the front of her house is littered with snow people and creatures alike. Her father is always testing new styles of clothes on her and she’s more than happy to give feedback.

Aurora
[ Mother ]
Aurora is Melanie’s mother. While she doesn’t have as close a relationship with her mom as Aurora tended to be the stricter parent, Melanie still loves her lots. She super admires her mom’s confidence and work ethic and tries to emulate that in her own activities. Aurora always makes a warm drink for her after Melanie comes home.
Emile

Emile is Melanie’s father. Emile definitely spoiled his little girl by giving her lots of attention as well as gifts in the form of new skiis and custom designed winter clothes. They have a very close relationship and Melanie feels comfortable chatting to him and asking him for advice on almost everything!
Connor
[ Best Friend ]
Connor is Melanie's best friend! They met on a trip and became fast friends, spending lots of time chatting and running down the slopes. They have a bit of a childish rivalry, with Melanie claiming skiing is better while Connor says that snowboarding is better. Still, they have lots of fun together playing in the snow!
