Arden is a very charming, cheerful and humorous person with a fair weakness for the pleasures of the flesh. He may not necessarily be the brightest candle on the cake, but his warm-heartedness and the fact that he tries to enliven every situation and see the positivity and goodness in everything (and everyone), no matter how dire the circumstances seem, make him oddly endearing.
It’s utterly rare to ever see him saddened or irate - If it comes to the latter however, may the gods have mercy; Arden is a skilled and masterful swordfighter and proves himself capable of being serious and fierce in battle, if need be. He’d gladly go through hell and back for those important to him.

- Arden loves drinking beer, celebrating and genuinely having a good time in taverns or at festivities. Always the heart of any party, that one!
- While he's generally rather blithe, he's very meticulous with polishing and caring for his sword
- He loves riding and horses in general. If he's upset or needs (rare) time and space from other people, he's most likely to be found at the closest stable

"It's complicated" is probably the most fitting way to describe their relationship. They both kind of like each other - They just don't want to.
Ardens stupidity and ruthless candor greatly irritate Iki; It's the only time her collected façade crumbles and her feelings get the better of her. They constantly bicker over trifles like an old married couple without even noticing themselves - To the amusement of everyone around them.
To the sorrow of absolutely everyone, ever, they love to tease and prank people together. They’re a menace, really.
In spirit, Arden is pretty much the big brother Kitany never had; Arden cares greatly for him and tries to help Kitany wherever and however he can.
Arden keeps it a well concealed secret as to why and how he is associated with Ryohei in any shape or form, though it's quite obvious they're not on very good terms with each other...
