"Oh! A bit about me? Well. Uh. I suppose I like baking, but you knew that right? And um. Well I get nervous around new people and I have- I have a hard time talking about myself.

I have an Iguana! He's real cool, he hangs out in the tank on the wall in the shop when I'm working. 

I'm still really new here. I just leased the shop and so I'm worried it's not going to work out, but I'm gonna try my best!" 

About the Baker

Merith is kind, with a big heart. He tends to fall all over himself trying to fix things if he hurts someone either physically or emotionally. The hardest person to forgive is himself. More often than not even if he does hurt someone he's always going to forgive himself last. 

Mer also likes to bring baked goods to people who he's close with, so it's not uncommon for him to just show up somewhere with a basket of muffins, a cake, or something in between. He's not always had a passion for baking, but ever since losing his previous 'job' as a guardian he's taken to making snacks for people instead. 

He's got some closely guarded secrets that only those closest to him know, but once you're in good with Merith, you're a friend for life. Even if you screw up, no matter how bad, he's likely going to always be willing to stick by your side. 

And he might be a bit stronger than he looks. My man hefts around bags of flour that weigh a good deal, kneads dough, and various other things. Don't let his pudge fool you.

Mer might not always get jokes, but he'll laugh at them, even if they're bad.
