Kalish was born from the remains of a century-old tree that fell during a storm hundreds of years ago. the energy of that tree was what protected the forest from invaders that could harm it, so as soon as Kalish appeared, it was his duty to protect everyone in the forest.
He has had contact with many powerful spirits, but luckily most of them were friendly. Over the years, he made many useful friendships with several creatures, one of them being of great help in his work as a guardian
