ansem mcavoy
yael's roomate/work partner/friend. despite feeling grateful, he was wary when ansem offered to help him get back on his feet. nonetheless, he took ansem up on his offer to stay with him at his ranch and to work with him, but didnt intend to stay there as long as he has. he thinks ansem's aversion to intimacy and friendship is exasperating, and is frustrated with ansem's determination in not engaging with him emotionally. he was shocked to find out about ansem previously being a doctor, but has come to more or less understand it after experiencing ansem's softer side come out when tending wounds. he enjoys ansem's company when hes not being antisocial or apathetic, and is trying to see more of his friendly side.
