Gull, along with their bandmates Puffy and Boo, make up an idol group known as Cuddlefish. Despite their fun, eurobeat inspired style and legion of adoring fans, Gull is a bit withdrawn and quick to shy away from anyone they're not already comfortable with. They wear a mask when performing or out in public as the array of pointed fangs jutting from their face has a tendency to scare young inklings and octolings.

Because of their intimidating appearance, Gull had a lonely childhood and never really knew what a true friend or family was until Boo and Puffy came along. They spend most of their time at the bands shared apartment in inkopolis when they're not performing, often passing the time gaming, collecting merch of their favorite bands, and trying out new varieties of sushi!
