Regina Martin

Bio: Regina is the daughter of a CEO of a television network and the head designer of a high-end fashion line. Growing up the younger child to two very rich and successful parents left her with a pretty privileged upbringing. If she wanted something, usually she could just get it by asking. She certainly enjoyed being pampered and partying and having fun. Despite that, Regina has always been someone who will work for the things that she truly wants. This is thanks to her mom teaching her from a young age to never expect to have things handed to you. Her mother, who had been dirt poor growing up and worked hard for her success, taught her that you need to put in work to get what you want and it’ll be much more satisfying. Regina was always close with her mother growing up. She would often shadow her at work and her mother’s work was what got Regina into fashion at such a young age. She saw fashion as something that can really help heighten your beauty all the while showing exactly who you are to the work just at a simple glance. It was so versatile too, being intricate and deep art pieces or it could be something that was just simple but pretty. The possibilities with fashion were endless and it was something Regina enjoyed looking at, making, and just experiencing. Her favorite things to do growing up were getting to go to fashion shows with her mother and see the models walking the runways in all sorts of different outfits. Ones that looked chic, ones that didn’t make much sense, and the high-end glamorous outfits they all were beautiful to Regina, whether she got them or not. Regina wanted to make her own outfits. She wanted to be able to create beautiful clothes that would be worn by models walking the runways of famous fashion events. However she wanted to do her own version of it. Something to make it more personal to her.

Growing up, Regina had always been on the heavier side of things. She was naturally big boned, which is something she had gotten from her dad. Even with working out and eating healthily, she always kept the weight on her. Though, she didn’t have much of a problem with it. It was part of who she was and so she embraced it. However, so much in the fashion world wasn’t geared towards bigger people, and that’s what Regina wanted to change. She wants to create high fashion for plus size people that can walk and be a headliner in places like Paris Fashion Week. 

Even as a young kid, Regina has been very sure of who she is and is comfortable with herself. She’s always been very outspoken about loving herself and isn’t afraid of letting the world know who she is. Though, this has caused some friction with her father who has tended to be overprotective of his daughter. The relationship with her father isn’t as close as it is to her mother. He spent more time priming Regina’s older brother to follow in his footsteps. He wanted Regina to do the same when she was first born, however it became clear pretty quickly that she was going to march to the beat of her own drum. They would often butt heads whether that was due to Regina putting more focus into fashion rather than running a tv network or even her more adventurous and party lifestyle. Regina was always head-strong and she was going to make sure she lived her life the way she wanted to. Her headstrong personality is what the two had the most in common though, and even if their relationship isn’t as close as Regina and her mother’s, her relationship with her dad isn’t exactly bad by any means. Regina’s confidence in herself is what has always pushed her to make her own way though, and it's why she won’t let anyone stop her from following her dreams. She plans on being a big name fashion designer, and plans on making her dreams a reality. Her mother offered to let her start working under her as a protege, but Regina refused. She didn’t want to rely on her parents’ money or her mother’s footprint in the fashion world to make it big. Like her mother taught her, Regina plans on working hard to make her own dream her reality.

Personality: Regina is a bold and honest girl who is unafraid to speak her mind. She believes that if you don’t speak up then no one is going to know how you feel. Regina thinks that you should say what you think and not be ashamed of it unless it's truly harmful to other people. Regina is always confident in herself, and never feels ashamed of who she is. She makes mistakes, but she isn’t afraid of doing so since she can just learn and grow from them. Regina is somewhat vapid, and at first glance, people may see her as a self-involved mean girl due to the more high-end way she presents herself. However, she is incredibly kind-hearted and cares about other people. Regina is the type of person who loves to help others in any way she can, but it'd be a mistake to call her a pushover. She doesn't hesitate to scold those who are rude to someone. She’s always available to help take care of someone who is in emotional need. Regina is not afraid to stand up for herself or her friends, and will get loud if she needs to. Regina is extremely blunt, and will say something as is. Regina is very stubborn. If she has an opinion, it is hard to get her to change it, and she tends to think her opinion is the correct one. First impressions are important to her, and they usually decide Regina's outlook on a person unless they do something big to change her mind. 

Regina is someone that doesn’t take kindly to being told “no.” She’s very head-strong and will make sure to do what she can in order to get what she wants. Despite being pretty spoiled growing up, she is someone who will gladly put in hard work to achieve her goals. She never wants to see herself as a quitter and won’t stop pursuing what she wants until it’s impossible to get. Regina is extremely passionate about fashion in general. She’s been around it and studied it for basically all her life. She knows and understands fashion references and will sometimes point out where a particular type of fashion originated or a designer who had a big impact with it. Though Regina is known to give little unwanted fashion critiques or point out bad fashion sense. She doesn’t do so with ill intent, it usually tends to just pop out of her mouth. She just can’t seem to help herself, even if her ‘help’ is unwanted. Regina loves to show off outfits that she’s designed or made. She has a strong sense of pride with her creations and wants to share them with the world.

Regina is a complete social butterfly. She is incredibly loquacious and loves to have conversations with people about their lives to learn more about them. She can easily keep a conversation going, even if the other participant isn’t much of a talker. When it comes to shy people, Regina tends to try and take them under her wing. While she doesn’t understand being afraid of social interaction, she doesn’t want them to be alone and too uncomfortable. So she'll hang around them and keep the conversation going for them to keep them from feeling awkward, at least that’s what she thinks she’s doing. Regina can get too involved in helping other people with what she believes are their problems without even asking if that person even needs or wants help. While she always has good intentions, Regina lacks many boundaries and will insert herself into other people’s business. She can be pretty nosy and loves to gossip. She loves to be in the know-how of all the tea and loves to spill it to other people, however she’ll never gossip about something that’s extremely personal to someone. That’s a line Regina will not cross if she can help it. But to her, gossiping and cutting up with others are just fun.  Regina is all about having fun. She loves to party and dance, and for her, it’s just another way to meet new people. She’s an extremely empathetic person towards other people, and always wants to make sure everyone is doing fine. If someone is feeling down, even someone she doesn’t like, Regina will sit down with them and try to help them through their problems. She is seen as a mother figure to people, and is incredibly compassionate to others. Regina can be something of an airhead, however. Things can and will fly over her head. Especially when it comes to things dealing with those less fortunate than she is on the money front. She doesn’t understand that people can’t just get what they want whenever they want like she can.
