Christie

Christie is the kind of girl that is so enthuastic that she seems to sparkle. Because of her education, she still thinks a bit like a child, so she may seem simple-minded at times, even though she’s in fact quite clever. She’s cheerful, you’re very unlikely to see her sad, and she’ll try to make you smile with her. She always is around the people she likes, it can even be annoying at times. Christie is a dreamy girl that wants to live incredible things, but at the same time she enjoys chilling on evenings, in a warm room, working, reading or just thinking about nothing.

Christie was born in a wealthy family, surounded by loving parents. His father manages a company, and her mother helps him as much as she can. She is really attached to them, who always cared a lot about her. Her mother, even if somewhat teasing, was very protective, and her father lets her act as she wants as long as her daughter is happy.

At a very young age she discovered a passion for investigations, she earned from her family and friends a snoop’s reputation, always being around tinkering, even, and especially, when it wasn’t of her business.

Growing up, she discovered Sherlock Holmes’ stories, and dreamed that one day, she’ll follow leads, find culprits and thus solve incredible mysteries.

So she started to tell to whoever wanted to hear it, or not for what it mattered, that one day she’ll be a great detective, and how fascinating investigations are. Even though nobody was taking this seriously, given how naive Christie is, no one could argue that she wasn’t motivated as hell.

The little girl grew up in the perspective to become a private detective, she luckily had her parents’ support. Indeed, while her father was simply happy to support his daughter’s project, her mother, who was more worried at the beginning, was reassured when her husband explained that with some money put aside, he could fund her project, and so Christie would never experience financial concerns.

As for studies, she enrolled in law school, where she has, not without difficulty, stayed for two years, so sho could access a detective degree. She missed her degree the first time, partly because she was considered too childish, dreamy and naive. Far from being discouraged, she worked hard, and so could obtain her degree, she was now officialy detective.

But it was impossible for her to open her own business at the time, because she had no experience, so she worked alongside the police, she was writing the investigation reports of her colleagues and sorted them. By chance she was able after some time to deal with the information gathering with civilians, even if to her disappointment, her superiors didn’t seem inclined to let her deal with an investigation from start to end. Thus after a little more than a year, she decided to leave her job. She was decided to manage herself her own agency. Her parents were hesitant. Even if the funding of a room and all the costs of Christie’s living weren’t a problem to deal with, they knew that with that little experience and network, it seemed unlikely that anyone calls upon her services.

After a few weeks of discussion, they accepted. Christie having from now in town her own agency, and an apartment just on top of it. She was independant, at least partly, her parents supporting her. Their concern turned out to be justified though, she had very few clients, and when she had one, it wasn’t very exciting.

When she had some time to spend, so most of the time, Christie liked to take a walk in the streets nearby, sharing her good mood with the local shopkeepers. She became especially close with two sellers, Vanille and Cannelle, whom she soon considered to be her friends and confidants. Sometimes she entered in their fruit and vegatable shop, located in front of her agency, and to leave only hours later, a bag full of fruits in her hands, and the heart lighter for having talked to them about her weariness.

One day she decided, under the advice of Vanille, to post an ad. She needed to recruit someone who could at least relieve her of the administrative tasks and paperwork, allowing her to concentrate more on the attractiveness of her agency. And in her opinion, even if after this she still doesn’t have any clients, at least it will give her some company.

So, shortly after publishing her ad, she received a telephone response from a certain Elliot, who said he had no particular qualifications in the sector, but was motivated and could at least take care of the paperwork. Not being very selective, as it was the only answer she got, Christie accepted his proposal. It was from that moment that Christie's agency began to grow. With the better organisation that came after Elliot was hired, giving a stronger and more professional image to her offer, she was finally able to start living her dream.

❥ She's quite small, an average weight, with fairly generous shapes, but not too much.

❥ She has black hair, with a slight purple glint. Hairstyle wise, it's kind of a "pinup style" cut, fairly short (shoulder lenght), a lot of volume, above all at the top, and a structured yet fluffy look.

Her eyes are kind of a bluish / cyan, and her skintone is more of a light pink than orange.

❥ Clothes wise, she has many different outfits, that she may wear according to the occasion. Her casual outfit conist of a pair of shorts, and a simple short sleeved top, with old boots. Though when she's working she may be wearing some turtleneck sweater and a pair of classy trousers. Her fanciest outfit though is a flowery dress, with flowery patterns, like leaves and petals around the neck and the waist, and bramble at the bottom of the dress. She wears it with a flower crown, and ballet flats with ribbons.

❥ For accessories, she almost always wears a ribbon, often orange but the color may vary, in her hair. She also has a necklace that follows a flower shape with a gem at the center, and a flowery bracelet.
