Boss met Steed when he was half the size he is now. He tamed him enough to become his, well, steed. Boss isn't too good with naming things. The two are now hardly ever seen without each other. Causing mayhem and chaos wherever they go, the duo are rarely refused what they want, making a living out of robbing and looting others.
Boss is rather childish and will throw a tantrum whenever he doesn't get his way. He uses the threat of Steed's menacing presence to get whatever he wants. He is quite quick-tempered and seems to swing from mood to mood at the slightest provocation. Despite his outbursts, Boss serves as the brains of the operation and comes up with the plans that lead to their success. Standing at only 3' 2" (97cm), he has quite the Napoleon complex and hates his height being brought up. He's trained Steed to grab him things he can't reach. Boss may yell at everyone, but shows a bit of his softer side to his companion, making sure such a big target doesn't get hurt and he's always well fed, even if feeding him is quite pricey. Boss has a slight moral compass and generally only steals from those who are better off.

Steed quickly grew from only slightly taller than Boss to towering over twice his height (6' 3"/190.5cm) at the shoulder. He doesn't speak but is quite expressive with body language, growls, grunts, snorts, and roars. He is quite stubborn and can be hard to train to do new things unless Steed sees something in it for himself. He responds to his name consistently and may sit for your if you have something to eat. Other than that, he'll have to be in the mood. When he isn't being Boss' ride, he is lazily sleeping or eating. He is quite imposing, but is generally pretty gentle unless threatened. He doesn't know his own strength though and may accidentally hurt someone. While he's not quick, he's built for stamina and strength and can run at a steady pace for quite a distance. Boss uses this to his advantage and can often outrun their pursuers overtime.

The two are quite feared in some towns and wanted in many more with a high bounty on their heads.
