HISTORY
Hailing as royalty from a magic saturated race, growing up was fairly easy for Shura. Whenever a problem came up, whether it was a minor inconvenience or detrimental to life itself, Shura would just use her standings or magical prowlness to solve it. However, two years ago she encountered a problem even she couldn’t handle alone. One of her species by the name of Grandier had grown to big for his bridges and decided that he wanted all of their power. Systematically killing off the other djinn, he hunted not for sport but for power. Finding a way to imbue himself with raw magic, he ripped the mana out of his victims to saturate himself with the reality warping powers djinn only have in stories.
Valgas, a wanderer from another realm who was renowned even in other planes of existence for his magical prowlness was summoned by Shura’s father to stop the creature as not even the djinn had the power to oppose him. Finding the crazed djinn almost instantly, he saw him feeding on several small children and tried to stop him. The fight that ensued was a glorious one that lasted almost an hour of pure spectacle. Despite this, Grandier gained the upper hand and evidently killed the wanderer. Shura, witnessing the whole thing could not stand idly by. Copying Grandier’s ability to absorb mana, she stole the mana from Valgas before Grandier could get to it. The fight that ensued lasted several seconds as Grandier was wounded and Shura was well rested and quite angry.
Shura respected the wanderer as he had sacrificed himself to protect people who were not even of his species. Dressing up like the wanderer, Shura told her father and everyone else in her kingdom she had died against Grandier to save Valgas’s honor. Shura then left her home, exiling herself to spread the tale of Valgas the Grand Prestidigitator by becoming him herself. During her self imposed exile she would visit the Realm of Aeolian where she became a tutor of its most prized hero and even assisted him in slaying a corrupted goddess.
PERSONALITY
When masquerading as Valgas, Shura is as lovable as a cactus, though her true self isn‘t much better as herself. Never wanting to draw attention, she always keeps to herself and expects others to do the same. While she isn’t completely heartless and will help others, she will ignore those not in dire need of assistance. Always calm and collected, Shura never lets stray thoughts or emotions sway her judgment. As an intellectual, Shura is a highly sophisticated individual. Spending almost all of her time reading and exploring new cultures, she has amassed a large amount of interesting if not useless information over her travels.
Shura has a very no-nonsense personality. She very rarely smiles or cracks jokes. She always seems angry or apathetic even when things are going her way. Because of her cold personality and unusual fashion sense, most people assume that her motives are sinister or insane, though this is untrue. As Valgas, her only goal is to increase her knowledge of the arcane arts by any means necessary, though her true goal is to promote Valgas‘s name in honor of his sacrifice and to help out the humans as she views them too weak to help themselves.
DESCRIPTION
Because of her unusual choice of attire, it is impossible for anyone to see any distinguishing features. She stands between 4’10” to 5’ tall and weights anywhere between seventy to a eighty five pounds, though it is impossible to tell the exact amount just by looking. The only visible part of her body is her eyes and sometimes the hair. Her eyes change from vibrant blue to a shimmering, crimson red while her hair is either red or black.
VOICE
While Valgas is a small person, her voice is stern and commanding. Being unnaturally deep even for the burliest of men, Valgas’s voice is instantly recognizable while in her basic attire. Valgas does this so that everyone takes her seriously and so people don‘t mistake her for a school girl. When she is out of her attire, she sounds more like she should, though she is still sounds fairly cold and stern.

WEAPONS
Shamshir: Valgas’s customized sword. Weighting a mere 19.6oz, it’s light enough for even him to swing effectively. Being 28 3/4" in length, with a 24 1/2" long blade and a 4 1/4" long handle, it is an extremely short sword, though it is rather large for Valgas. Instead of being forged by steel or iron, the sword is fashioned from bronze. This makes the blade weaker and duller then traditional swords. Using it for decoration than competitive uses, the sword is more so a symbol of his power then an actual weapon. With a simple leather/wood scabbard with bronze fittings, it matches rather well with his outfit.
Mermaid Tear: While preferring a simple sword over an elaborate weapon such as a naginata, the grand Prestidigitator obtained this weapon by defeating a manmade angel in close combat. The shaft of his naginata is six and a half feet long and is made out of a black metal with veins of obsidian running through it. The foot long blade is made of pure obsidian and is capable of cutting through flesh and bone due to the sharpness of the material. As part of its dark nature the spear saps away the heat within the air that chills the very blood of the user. In the center of the blade, a small magical-endowing sapphire in which the weapon gets its name from. It grants the wielder a minor form of cryokinesis, though Valgas rarely uses it as he lack immunity to the cold and harms himself whenever he activated that ability. To prevent hurting himself, Valgas keeps it in a pocket dimension.
Esper Grimoire: A magical tome that was once owned by Valgas’s father, he stole it from him and uses it to travel between realms. When Valgas can’t read magic at the begin of his journey the Grimoire was useless as a spell book, however the book still radiated with magical energy and can be used to travel into different realms at random. While the energy it gives off is minuscule, Vaglas absorbs the energy so that he can cast spells in realms that are normally “magic dead”. Now Valgas is an accomplished mage in his own right, the Esper Grimoire can be searched for any spell and give Valgas an accurate description and limitation. This helps immensely with her Plagiarism and Matra Magick abilities.
ABILITIES
Mimicry: Valgas isn’t the type of person to defeat an adversary with his own strength, but rather turn his opponent’s strengths against them. By creating refractions in time, Valgas can duplicate enemy attacks with the same force and ferocity as the attack against them. While casting spells takes time, these refractions have no delay, being able to use it every time his opponent uses a skill. However, he cannot mimic the same individual attack twice without plagiarizing it. While it takes him energy to mimic, it takes him the same amount of energy to duplicate any attack from any individual regardless of it‘s power. This is because he is creating a refraction in time, not using his own energy to recreate the attack. While Valgas can duplicate spells and other supernatural occurrences, he cannot copy physical matter that isn't part of a spell nor can he duplicate naturally occurring phenomenon. Valgas also must view the supernatural occurrence and must mimic it within thirty seconds afterwards, otherwise its impossible for him to do at all. Valgas is also limited by being only able to copy the effect of an ability, not the cause. An example of this is that he cannot copy the ability to control fire, though he can copy the fire that is being manipulated.
Plagiarism: Whenever Valgas mimics an ability, he usually can only do it once and must copy it within thirty seconds after it was used. This is because he remembers the attack, though he can no longer “feel” it’s presence after a set time. By using a rather large portion of mana, Valgas can inscribe a perfect mental image of the period of time in which the ability was used into his memories. Being able to see and feel the ability whenever he wants, Valgas can use it once every minute without risk, though it has the same limitations as mimicry save one thing. While mimicry allows the user to copy an attack perfectly with the same cost no matter how powerful it is, plagiarism cost a proportionally greater amount of mana to memorize. This prevents the Grand Prestidigitator from copying Armageddon level abilities. Since plagiarizing an ability places a spell onto his memories, Valgas can only plagiarize so many skills at once. Though only done when needed, Valgas can remove the inscription at anytime.
Matra Magick: Valgas knows the inner working of any spell he mimics. Because of this, it is easy for him to duplicate any spell he copies. Unlike Plagiarism, it's power and ferocity is determined by how much energy Valgas puts into it. Since it is still is a duplication of the original, Valgas has cast these spell in similar to originals and has all the same limitations. For weaker spells however, he can choose how to cast the spell, usually through snapping. If the ability or attack he copied isn’t magic in nature, he cannot convert it into Matra Magick.
Innate Strength: Being an Djinn, Valgas absorbs latent energy around him to constantly replenish his mana. Acting as a magic sponge, Valgas absorbs any energy, regardless of strength or potency.
PLAGIARIZED SKILLS
Taser Jab: Copied from an Asgardian berserker by the name of Raizou, it is used to transfer a large amount of electricity from his fist into his opponent in order to stun them. Giving off slightly more then 50,000 Volts, 18 Watts and 135 Milliamps, it can be used to stun even the largest of people, though it isn’t enough energy to cause any permanent harm.
Dark Pulse: Copied from quite a unique character, it releases wave of corrupted spiritual energy in an explosive blast to damage his opponents. When used on the ground, it rises out of the earth and straight until it reaches it’s final destination as opposed to when it is used in the air. In air, the attack takes form similar to that of the crescent moon. When it reaches it’s final target, the attack explodes with a large amount of concussive force.
September Thistle: Throwing his arm forward, Valgas tosses out five colored (Red, Yellow, Orange, Green, and Purple) 'knives' created from hardened spirit energy. Upon impact, the 'Thistles' dissipate, returning half of their cost in spirit energy to the Grand Prestidigitator. They deal about the same damage as a regular throwing knife. This attack is thrown in a fan shaped pattern and scatters outward. This attack was stolen from a guardian spirit who was slacking on her duties.
SPELLS
Light Refractions: Time isn’t the only thing Valgas can refract. By bending light around him, Valgas can change the color of himself and his clothing, usually to match his surroundings. This spell also has the ability to render Valgas invisible, though only partially. A silhouette of Valgas is still visible so that his eyes can absorb what little light he needs to see. While he can become 100% invisible, he loses all sight himself, only utilizing its full potential as a last resort. In addition, he may also refract his own appearance much like an object in the water. This can cause a would be lethal blow into a nonlethal one. Copied from the original Valgas.
Twilight Shroud: Using the Favian Vanguard's unique control over light and ice magic, Valgas channels arcane energy around her sword to create a heavy layer of crystallized fog over the surrounding area. As long as this field is maintained, the Prestidigitator can, at will, employ one of the following effects per turn:
☀Reflect multiple illusionary images of herself inside the boundaries of the field, all of which follow her current actions and last until a new effect employed.
☀Surround herself with especially thick fog, effectively masking her presence until she either attacks or a new effect is employed.
☀Emit a blinding ray of light, which reflects off all the crystals within the field of fog, effectively blinding all characters within for a post or two.
Breath of Fire: Unlike a dragon or other mythological creatures, Valgas doesn’t inhale or exhale in order to breath fire, but instead sends a stream of flames towards his opponents by engulfing the latent magical energies in front of him on fire. The flames are generated an inch away from his face to prevent setting his face veil on fire. Since there is a limited amount of mana in a given area, the stream of fire can only travel fifteen feet and can only last a few seconds. This attack is mainly used to prevent assailants from getting close enough to attack him and is rarely used as an offensive skill. Copied from the original Valgas.
Omega Lance: Copied from “the Mystic Dragoon”, Valgas creates a powerful lance made of pure energy that will severely burn anyone who would touch it. Being able to change from a lance for to a long ten foot chain at will, it latches onto his victims upon contact. When an opponent is bound by the chain, Valgas has the ability to draw them in, increase the energy output to increase the damage, or use it as leverage to move the opponent. Upon using one of these actions, Omega Lance will dissipate.
Harpy‘s Wail: The ability to mimic voices and sound alteration in which the mimic Valgas copied from a outspoken harpy. His vocal cords temporarily change into gel and stretch and solidify in order to create any sound. Because this doesn’t have a limitation on what sounds he can make, he can send a sonic resonance that can shatter solid objects or send ultrasonic wave able to knock an opponent several feet back. Valgas mainly uses this as a means of masking his voice.
Dawdle: Speeds up the target's perception of time to reduce the 'perceived time' they have to think and calculate a counter to a move, effectively giving him half the time to react to any given situation. This spell doesn't slow the body of the recipitant. Copied from the wannabe time mage Virgil.
Mystic Titan Blade: This ability is a mirror image of Ryugi Kazamaru's classic 'Titan Blade' technique crafted with Azurian Magic by the Mystic Dragoon Moonblade which was in turn stolen by the Grand Prestidigitator Valgas. The magical aura around the Valgas extends to ridiculous length, effectively increasing his range to around triple the original temporarily. While this attack has substantial force, it isn't as powerful as the original or initial copy for a number of factors, including Valgas’s physical strength, the shorter length of the Valgas‘s weapon, and the fact that Azurian Magic is poorly suited for that sort of ability.
Shock Tide: Stolen form a half-shade dragon killer. A large amount of mana is focused through a target (I.E. the tip of his spear, his fists, etc.) for a single, devastating attack. This spell actually uses a combination of two elements. Negative energies wear away at the target's life force directly, where as the chaos energies work to tear apart any physical object. This typically cannot be used as a projectile attack, as the combined magical energies disperse as it travels out, negating its effectiveness. Due to it’s dark nature and Valgas’ general unwillingness to kill, this attack is reserved for those special opponents that can handle such an attack.
