Sitras Necklace (Need specific)- born to fishing village to human dad and elven mom. Parents still alive Wanted to travel, left home late teens and became a sorta merc/bodyguard Helped save a Noble from bandits or something at some point, Noble is grateful. Decides to bring him in to squire for a knight until he proves himself and is knighted himself. Has the whole deal. Silver tongued Knight under Some Important Noble. Goes like this for some time (he’s now 36). Somewhere in his late 20s, early 30s he falls for another knight. Ends up kinda becoming his paramour which isn’t Good but hey it made him happy. Guy wasn’t good for him, after a long time of this Other Knight drops him like a bag of potatoes. Rowan is bitter but tries to move on despite still liking him for some reason. Rowan witnesses Noble he works for doing something terrible to some smallfolk. Rowan’s pretty privileged bubble pops, and he tries to play the chivalrous person and speaks out against this, publically, it humiliates Noble. Noble does not like this. Rowan experiences terrible side of Noble he wasn’t quite seeing before in his bubble. Noble ‘teaches him a lesson’, Rowan loses tongue as a result. Other Knight talks to him after this, Rowan finds out Other Knight threw him under the bus. Rowan, now disgraced, decides this isn’t what he wants to continue to do- starts studying to take up an oath of protection as a paladin.
