Leo was born in Auberon family, with a loving father and 3 other siblings: 1 older brother named Hector, and 2 older sister named Amy and Claire. He hasn't met his mother before, whether knowing that she's alive or not, muggle or not. As a young kid, he was a calm and stoic little boy. Sometimes he was getting picked on by Yorick, their childhood friend, also Hector's best buddy. Amy and Hector attended Hogwarts and become one of their best students.

One day, a tragic event occured at Auberon's mansion during winter holiday, caused by unknown cause. The head of Auberon died due to severe injuries, while the eldest of the sibling, Amy, is in a severe comathose. After the mansion burnt down to ash, the siblings was being separated while Leo, who lose his memories of the event, was taken by his guardian, a person who was said to be his father's best friend.

Later, he was asked to attend Hogwarts and was sorted to Ravenclaw. As he lost his memories, after keeping his sister's last word to keep smiling whatever happened, he grew to be a cheerful person who love to smile. Though no one know what he's thinking actually. He just love to smile alot. Every 2 weeks, he trades letter with Claire who're currently working in a secret organization along with Hector.
