Nami Shoku

Nami is a very shy girl who has trouble opening up to people. Even when she starts warming up to people she still stays distrustful. She always want to do what’s best for others though. She can get cheerful. She is really sympathetic towards someone else’s problems, and always want to help. She does not judge people and is very indulgent and patient. She’s a fast learner and takes her studies very seriously, she is calm most of the time, a bit discreet at times. 

She hides her insecurities, she wants to appear strong and worthy of being a hero, she wants people to look up to her, so they know they can trust her. She wanna prove that she can help and that her quirk can be used for good. 

Biography: 

Nami lived quite a pleasant life with her sister and mother, though it was hard at times because her mother was single and took care of her and her sister alone. She loved her family. Around the age of 5 she discovered her quirk, in a quite chaotic way. Indeed, she discovered it at school while she was playing with her classmates, hurting them. She got grounded. At the time, she didn’t know how to use her quirk at all. People started distancing themself from her, scared of her. Some of her friends stopped talking to her, some were even forbidden around her by their parents. Time passed, and she started being bullied for her quirk, and how discreet and silent she was. people thought she was weird and dangerous. But she would never uses her quirk against them to defend herself, to scared to hurt any of them. Though it was a hard time for her, she had the support of her sister and one of her childhood friend that never let her down. It’s because of her sister’s support that she started contemplating the idea of becoming a hero. She wanted to show the world that she could help people, that she is strong and can do good. 

However, one day when she was out with her sister and her friend, they got stuck in a villain attack. During that attack All Might came, be he couldn’t save Nami’s friend unfortunately. He didn’t have enough time left to even apologise. Nami never hold a grudge against him, her sister however did.
She got so mad that she ran out of her house. Nami never seen her again. Even to this day she wonders what happened to her, and she made the promise to find her one day.
With her dream of becoming a hero in mind, she tried to enter U.A in the heroes department. And she did. Now she is studying and training to become a hero. She always does her best.

Description: Nami’s quirk allow her to use shockwaves to project herself or other people, it also allows her to send shockwaves through someone’s body, hurting them. Her quirk can easily destroy things such as builings or structures.

Drawbacks: If she uses her quirk too much, the shockwaves she sent come back to her and hurt her, it might also kill her.
