One thing over all, over everything she has ever done in her life. Mistpelt's priority has always been keeping her sister safe. Though she never took a mate, Mistpelt may as well have been the one to give birth to Fogtail and Icewillow. When Cloudpatch retired due to a heavy sickness that she never could quite shake (And still hasn't lost the after effects from), Mistpelt waited a few more moons to serve as best she could, before asking to retire as well.

Mistpelt loves her sister, and even though she knows that, chances are, Cloudpatch will die before her, she still takes care of her as best she can.
