- Claire's was born and lives in Chandler, Arizona. At the time of his birth, his mother was only 15 years old and could not handle being a teenage mother. His father, Ned, who was also 15 at the time, did not want to be a father either. Running from his responsibilities, he abandoned both of them after finding out about the pregnancy and left the town. The mother, alone and afraid, hid her pregnancy until she gave birth to Claires in the bathroom of a store in the mall (Claires). As no one knew that she was pregnant and she did not want anyone to find out, she simply left him in the bathroom and until someone else found him later. He was brought to an adoption agency as he became an orphan due to being abandoned. He grew up in an orphanage but was never adopted. At some point, the apocalypse began, and the world crumbled, including the orphanage. Past this point, he was left on the streets to fend for himself for years. Using his young age in a town where there are little to no children as his advantage, he was able to survive by being fed by people who pitied him and stayed wherever he could. He also began experimenting with stealing and sneaking around. At some point, growing tired of having to find new people constantly to fend for himself, Claire's decided he wanted to find somewhere to settle down, as well as find himself as he is growing. He began searching and experimented living with a couple of people and seeing what kind of life he liked better. He ended up residing with the local town butcher (Jean) and also likes to help a small group of known thieves in his pass time and their shenanigans with his stealing experience. The more he grows to know them, he is slowly beginning to see them as something like a family that he was never able to have. He spends most of his time annoying people throughout the town and is trying to build connections.
