Synopsis
Relationships Jinja Benio (ジンジャ・ベニオ Benio Jinja) also known as Beni is one of the students that attended the Masao Academy located in the town of "Masao". For unknown reasons, she decides to hide her real gender and take the Department of Investigation course and become one of the greatest detectives the town had. "Yes, I did change myself for the dead so if it's you the one who murdered my mom, don't worry, I'm not letting you go anytime soon."

Due to years of being looked down by some students of the Masao Academy for having "feminine" features, she is initially portrayed as an insecure and fearful person. These traits are especially present around those who used to bully her back in school. While originally confident in herself, Benio's pride was crushed by the bullies who constantly harangued and made fun of her. Benio has shown remarkable grades, talents, and incredible intellect, always paying attention to the smallest details, this making her a very caring person. Due to the murder incident that happened while she had only 14 years old, her attitude changed drastically, the incident making her want to attend the Department of Investigation course. Quirk and AbilitiesFingerprint(指紋) Type: Transformation (変形, Henkei?) The user is able to zoom into a certain point on a piece of evidence and distinguish any fingerprints the evidence has without having to go through the normal process that can take more than one week. After using the quirk, the user will not be able to use the quirk for a whole day due to the fact that the vision becomes weak[er. The user has to wear after that sunglasses to protect their eyesight from the sunlight. SynopsisCHILDHOODBenio was found by the billionaire, Jinja Daizen near a side street, next to a body, later, the body is identified as the child's mother. No one knew what caused her mother's death since there was no evidence of body-beating but one thing was clear, the man knew the poor woman was killed by a serial killer. Since she was young, Benio has lived together with the billionaire, the child living a peaceful life, not being aware of the serial killer that was killing every man, woman, or even child that had bizarre quirks, just like her. Benio greatly admired heroes and always dreamed of being one when she gets old enough. The quirk manifested at the age of 4, just like the other children of her age, the power manifesting while she was looking for up for one of her dolls, after the manifestation, she wasn't able to see anything for a period, scared, she thought she will never be able to see again. After one week of being not able to see, the vision came back to normal. As a child, she always dreamed about a woman with long and blonde hair, sly, with a big smile on her face, Benio always thought that person was someone important or special to her, most probably the mother she never had but what the little girl never knew was, the woman was actually the one who killed Benio's mother. At the age of ten, Jinja Daizen, her adoptive father decides to tell Benio the truth about being adopted, and in what state she was found by him, knowing how Benio would most probably react at the news, he decides to hug her while doing it. After the discussion, she asks if Daizen can leave her alone, the news horrifying her. She has never known that people can kill each other since until now she has lived a peaceful life. MOTIVATION Years later, she decides to enroll in the Masao Academy, at the Department of Investigation Course and be a detective. At that time, being a detective also a female was totally impossible for a woman so she cuts off her hair and disguises herself as a boy but before she could do all of that, she asks for permission from the Direct, Jinja Daizen. At first, he refused Benio but after weeks, he accepts Benio's request but with one condition: if someone is gonna find out about her real gender, she has to change the school uniform and not take the Investigation Course anymore. MASAO ACADEMY Benio's life at the Masao Academy wasn't easy at all since she entered her first year at the Department of Investigation Course, the classmates she had has always bullied her for little reasons: her looks, not talking at all or taking any interest in her classmates, discussions, making the most beautiful girls the school had to fall in love with her. No one was aware at that time about Benio's real plan. RelationshipsThey both know each other since Benio was in highschool and Hayato in middle school. As students/pupils, they used to spend a lot of time together, Hayato not even knowing that Benio was a girl. Since she was young, Benio has never worn a dress or kept her hair long, due to the fact that she has never liked the idea of having long hair. At some point, Hayato is going to find out about Benio's secret when they're going to have a sleepover at Benio's house. While Benio was gone to take a soda for Hayato, he found a cloth behind a chair, not being aware that the cloth was actually a pantie, Hayato got scared and started questioning Benio in his mind, much later understanding the situation Benio was in and not telling her the truth about the pantie he has just found.

紅 (benio) meaning "crimson" or from Japanese 紅 (beni) meaning "crimson" combined with 央 (o) meaning "center, middle". She was known in the whole School for having "interesting" and deep eyes. She starts smocking because of the stress, drinks too much coffee, and is sleep-deprived.
