Nereida Muiel

Basic Information

She was the queen of the Eastern Water Kingdom. She became queen at the age 15. To put it shortly, she was a horrible ruler. She was very selfish and only cared about herself, was exceptionally rude to her subjects, and over all just a terrible person to be around. Her younger brother was her right-hand man/adviser and even he got tired of her terrible ways, so he lead a rebel to over throw her. She tried to get her parents to help her, but even they couldn't aid her. After losing the crown, her brother took her spot as head of the higher royal family. At this point, she was powerless.
She soon moved to a smaller village in the kingdom and that's when she met the others. Almost instantly, she and Enya did not get along at all. Not only because Nereida has a really crappy attitude, but both of their kingdoms have been in a dispute with each other for years and could soon be leaning towards a war. When asked to join their party, she only accepted because of the Solar's kingdom's location.

The kingdom was close to the Western Water Kingdom, aka the location of her fiance, Misu. During her time as queen, the only person she respected was Misu, but sadly the two couldn't physically see each other due to his descendant training. Though, he did send her letters and presents frequently. On her 16th birthday, he sent her a replica trident similar to the Water Goddess's Trident. She treasures it dearly. While on their travels, she never told the others about her fiance. They only found out about him when they reached his kingdom. Seeing Nereida treat someone with actual care was shocking, to say the least. As the journey continued, she naturally stayed behind to be with him after so long.

Facts

• She can live both on land and underwater
• Although she can breathe under both, she prefers freshwater over saltwater
• Don't let those sharp teeth fool you, she's a vegetarian
• Has a small retractable fin on her back
• Is weak in colder temperatures
• Attracted to shiny objects. Back at her palace she had a room dedicated to her shiny treasures
• Hates when others touch her tail. Will slap you with it if you touch her
• Her father spoiled her to death as a child, which is why she behaves the way she does
• Her brother had always held a distaste for her due to jealousy
• Becomes bored easily and when she gets bored she become more bratty
• Can create swimmable ponds anywhere, If she creates two or more they can act as portals
• She is not a weak woman. Her magic abilities are amazing, she just doesn't like to try very hard
• Not too long after being reunited with Misu, they have a son. In total, they will have three children with each other
• While her husband is away training she has taken up reading as a hobby. She mostly studies spell books around the royal palace
• Since being kicked off the throne, she has not once visited her old kingdom and probably never will
