Donn, or as he prefers- Harlan, is a well respected Detective who's built quite a reputation in his town for solving what would normally be deemed as "cold cases". He's a workaholic who is drawn by the rewarding nature of his job despite the grittiness. Outside of work, he has very little to do with hobbies or other events in his life. He's a simplistic man who lives a quiet life and shares a two bedroom apartment with his sister and her child.
