Ever since he was a child, Jun just seemed destined to be on the covers of magazines.

With his mother being a clothes designer and his father being a photographer, coupled with the fact he was a handsome young man, the decision that he was to join them in the fashion industry as a model came naturally. He excelled in the important things he was taught at a young age; etiquette, poise and how to give a nice smile to name a few. Often he modelled in his mother’s designs and accompanied his parents in their fashion shows and galas. The feline never complained but over time something felt missing.

It took a flyer to the face for Jun to realize what that was.

He auditioned and was accepted into an idol group as his passion lied in music, much to his parents’ chagrin. The music industry was fiercely competitive (as if fashion wasn’t?) and the particular genre he was in involved intense training (as if fashion didn’t??). They argued on how it was a lifestyle he was not prepared for and he was going to be eaten alive. His parents eventually relented; since he was 20, he was old enough to make his own decisions. The only condition was to finish the rest of his schooling. So, that was what the cat set out to do. However, like most things, it was easier said than done.

Between studying for exams and memorizing choreography and doing shows and interviews and a myriad of everything else, Jun was extremely stressed. There was a lot of pressure on him to succeed in all aspects of his life and to do so with elegance and grace. For a time he relied on drugs to make his head clear enough to achieve these things. He used his glamour to hide the visual effects of what he took and made sure not to raise suspicions on his whereabouts late at night. It worked for a while, he thought he could just get college over with this way with no one knowing.

That is, until he collapsed one day and ended up in the hospital.

There was a major shift in priorities after that. The feline was pulled out of his classes and shows and put in rehab, his absence explained only to those who mattered. He was still banned from the concerts when he finished the program, pushed to focus solely on his college courses and projects. It was only when he graduated that he got to perform again. The support from his family and friends through it all was immense and was something he was still thankful for to this day.

Things have been relatively smooth since. His music career took off and their group had hit the charts countless times over the years. Life was good and he had no regrets over not being a model anymore.

Eventually, a break was needed after all the hard work they’ve done. One member of their group suggested they go to the relatively new town of Arcana, sitting in Lune de Miel. With its rumours piquing the cat's interest, his answer was obvious at that point.
