feyre was brought up by her mother in a kittypet style. her brother and sister had been taken away at birth by her father, who she didnt know. when people attempted to take feyre away from her mother, she escaped out the door and ran. she never went back, not even to see her mother.

after she ran out, feyre lived as a loner for a long time, scavenging from bins and sometimes even eating whatever was left of the rotten roadkill. she almost got run over many times and was in many, many fights but her healing magic covered her physical scars. nothing could be done about her mental ones, though

one day, she stumbled upon a bowl of cat food just,, left outside someones house. starving at the time, she dug in greedily and cleared the bowl in moments. her belly still not quite satisfied, she pawed at the door to see if the twoleg inside was friendly. it was, and gave her more food, and she kept coming back until one day she ventured inside the house.

she began befriending more and more twolegs and other cats and even began to learn the language of dogs, although she told no one. she had on and off relationships with almost every tom and she-cat in the neighbourhood that was around her age and one day, met her sister again.

she met violetsky by chance as she was cleaning herself in one of her regular twoleg's garden. her sister fell down practically on top of her and they recognised eachother immediately. violetsky's eyes were wide but feyre didnt hold much conversation before she left the twoleg's dogs run out to deal with them.

it wasnt that she didnt want to see her sister, or that she didnt like her; she just felt so anxious at the surprise visit that she played it off badly. she was so happy that she got to meet violetsky, but so angry at herself for ending it.

next time she heard of her sister, violetsky had been murdered and her mate was in mourning. feyre fell into a deep depression which she coped with by slinking out on her own, sleeping off the day in any twoleg's house she could find, and keeping to herself. she couldn't look at rayne, violetsky's mate, or her sisters murderer, sootfall.
