Personality:

Mystic Rains is a friendly mare, for the most part. She tries her best to help others. She is somewhat emotionally stunted, mostly because of her lack of a normal childhood. She tends to get excited, mostly about things that she likes. Mystic Rains is Autistic, and she

[Character History]

Mystic Rains was born to Eden and Meteor Trail, alongside her fellow triplets Soft Fiber and Letter Song, than named Silent Power and Soulful Vison. Growing up, all three of the triplets were pressured to become powerful magic users, just like their ancestors were. Eden often used the failure of her own siblings as an example. They were also generally abusive, often calling them horrible and useless. Think Bojack's parents and grandparents, but more family friendly. The pressure increased when a cousin named Twilight Sparkle became Celestia's student, and two of their older siblings also gained magical talents. Only Mystic Mane was excused since he turned out to be famous. They did have friends, such as Hex Mind, but they mostly belonged to the elite of Canterlot.

Eventually Mystic Rains gained her cutie mark. It happened when she was alone. The filly found a broken teddy bear on the street, left behind by it's owner. She took it in, finding a needle and thread, before sewing it up. She didn't even realize she had her cutie mark until her parents came home. They were horrified! Why did their own flesh and blood have this... childish mark! She was shunned from the family, quickly kicked out. The poor filly wandered around for a while, eventually finding her way onto a train to ponyville. There she slept on the street until she was taken in by a family, lead by Cheery Pie, a bakery owner with ten other foster kids. Mystic Rains flourished in this environment. She also began going to actual school instead of homeschool. She met a bunch of ponies, including Applejack and Rarity, although she did not really know them that well. She stuck with the same three friends, Sculpted Shy, Iron Prophesy, and Charming Honor. Only Iron was cutiemarkless, which often caused him to be teased by the local bullies for being a blank flank. His friends tried to help Iron, but nothing helped. Than, one day, he gained his cutiemark, and he was renamed Check Mate. Check asked Mystic if she ever wanted to change her name. After all, something like Teddy Bear would be better. She simply gave a smile, and said that she kept her name to spite her bio parents. 

One day, Mystic Rains found out about a abandoned castle in the everfree. Curious, she found herself exploring with Charming Honor and Check Mate. After a lot of trials, she managed to find something interesting. It was a pull toy that was intact, somehow. This gave Mystic a idea. 

When she grew old enough to move out of Cheery's house, she bought a small run down shop. Soon she would open the first toy museum in all of Equestria! All she needed was more toys. Still, the fact that she had a toy from a old castle should be good enough to advertise things, right?

The Summer Sun Celebration soon came into town, and her cousin was there to make sure everything went smoothly. Sadly, she was busy with the preparations, so Mystic Rains didn't even have a chance to talk to her. However, Mystic Rains did finally see her two sisters again! Turns out that they both had talents not related to magic either. They also renamed themselves. Silent Vision was now Soft Fiber, a wig maker, while Soulfull Vision was a song writer named Letter Song (She liked the name despite the strangeness of it). Together, they finally opened the first toy museum in all of Equestria! The first temporary exhibition was all about the toy tradition of making toys that, when touched by the sun, react in various ways (in other words, magical solar panel toys). Business was good. The first day ended when everyone went to see Celestia. Instead, Nightmare Moon appeared. Mystic and her siblings were horrified at the thought of eternal night. She decided to bring some happiness to the darkness. So, she let people into her museum for free, entertaining them with random stories that popped into her head, all while keeping the lights on. Letter Song also tried singing some of her songs, but she failed, after all, she was a writer, not a singer.

The sun came back, and Nightmare Moon was restored to her former form, yet everyone who had been hiding in the toy museum that horrifying night remembered Mystic's kindness. More people went to the museum, and even more donated their own toys. The old shop quickly expanded into a giant building to accommodate the amount of toys that were being given. 

Nightmare night came around, and a special exhibit was up about non edible amusements given out for the dark holiday. Luna herself came to visit, and was astounded by the pull toy that Mystic had for so long. It turned out that her mother had given her that same toy for her second birthday, and that she had kept it until her banishment to the moon, and that it's name was Silly, Mystic offered to give her the toy back, but the princess refused. Silly had a new home now. This was the beginning of their friendship. 

Her toy museum only became more and more famous. When tourists went to ponyville, one of the places they would go would be Mystic's toy museum. After all, it was princess Luna approved! Luckily the museum wasn't damaged in Terik's attack. Mystic Rains was one of the few ponies who managed to avoid being drained of her magic, as she just hid in her toy vault with around a few weeks of food. She only got out when she was found by her friend Charming Honor. Later on she finally met her cousin when she went on a journey to meet all of her relatives. While she didn't meet up with her older siblings, she did however rescue her youngest when their parents were banned from being anywhere close towards them or any Sparkle for the rest of eternity!

On the way, her cutiemark glowed. She was summoned to the Cutie Mark Map to go somewhere alongside some new ponies named Fern Swirl, Spilt Ink. Sage Meadow, and South Wind, and Bright Lights. Charming Honor also came along. They found a long lost kingdom called Ponyland which was having a crisis with leadership when their king died. Unlike Equestria, this kingdom's royalty were all earth ponies. The king recently died, and his two children were fighting over it. Prince Firefly was the heir that he chose, but Lady Dragonfly was the eldest, and assumed that she would be the rightful heir. Both of them were surprised to see ponies from Equestria. The group split into two, who would follow them around and determine who would be the best for the kingdom. Mystic Rains teamed up with Charming Honor, South Wind, and Sage Meadow to talk to Lady Dragonfly, while Fern Swirl volunteered herself, Spilt Ink, and Bright Lights.

Lady Dragonfly ignored Mystic Rains's group, and eventually lost patience. Angry at haughty equestrians for trying to meddle, she had all four of them arrested, only for Prince Firefly to instead free them. This broke the camel's back, and a war broke out. Defeated, Mystic Rains ran off, fearing that she'd be executed by her own sibling. Instead, she found a group of four friends who had family who took the sides of both the monarchs, hiding out in a ancient, overgrown garden. Ivy, a fashion stylist who loves learning about the latest trends, Lady Light Heart, a light-hearted prankster who always tries to cheer up her friends, Princess Sundance the eighth, a curious explorer with a talent for ballroom dancing, and Morning Glory, a teacher who has a crush on the coach. She finds out from Morning Glory that these used to be called The Friendship Gardens, back when Ponyland were friends with Equestria. Than one day, a argument broke out with Ponyland and the other kingdoms, which the names have been lost to time. Every kingdom isolated themselves from the other, and the monarchs hid that there was any other kingdom besides their own. More determined than ever, Mystic Rains sets off to show the royalty the truth. Along the way she meets Clover Clever, who reveals that he knows that he is descended from Clover The Clever, being the result of one of his many flings. He helps her to find one of the ponies she traveled with, that being Spilt Ink, who she didn't know that well. Spilt Ink revealed that she befriended the prince, and together she convinces him to follow her. Dragonfly is on his trail, but pauses when they come to the gardens. Mystic Rains, the four friends she met, and Clever Clover tell them that Equestria and Ponyland used to be friends, just like the two siblings were, but a argument pulled them apart. Dragonfly finally sees that the conflict was petty, and she hugs her younger brother. They make peace, and they decide that they'll both rule over the kingdom. Firefly wanted to go off and see Equestria though. He comes to the kingdom and is surprised to hear that The Crystal Empire is back, and there are five alicorns instead of just two! Satisfied, he promises to visit semi-often! Before he left though, he pulled Spilt Ink aside. He seemed serious as he told her something. Spike later mentioned overhearing something about a missing sister.

Mystic Rains had a small background role, but she was there. Pinkie invited Mystic to visit the Crystal Empire a couple of times, and she got to meet the miracle herself, Flurry Heart. Everything was nice! Her awful bio parents were no longer in her life, she had a giant toy museum, and she even was friends with some of the most powerful ponies that ever lived. She finally was able to talk with her older siblings seriously as well! Now, with the cutiemap sending Mystic and her siblings on adventures, her reach only strengthened. Yet, something was missing. Mystic wanted someone to fall in love with. She wouldn't get one until her third adventure, one where a lot would come to light. 

Her friend Charming Honor found herself in the clutches of a evil sorcerer. Even worse, a chunk of equestria was turned into a evil circs!
