Personality/History:

Finchhaze is a quiet, cold and distant cat. He's emotionally stupid but very logically smart, coming up with different strategies to make sure his enemies stay on their toes. He is a softie on the inside, and doesn't really know how to handle that side of his emotions, so he's more likely to shove them down and repress them, not saying anything about them. He's a fantastic hunter and fighter, however, so he makes up for it by providing for the Clan anyway.

Finchhaze was born to two parents who admired each other and him very much, and yet even at a young age, he worked with his brain more than his heart. His parents were very careful in how they raised him, but there was something very unlike the two of them in Finch that it worried them. The medicine cat assured them he was okay, and he was just growing, but after moons of watching their kit slowly grow to be a distant cat from most of his peers, it worried them. It was only the days he spent with his friend Tinyfall that they saw any noticeable shift in his mood. They saw their son become flustered and actually smile with his friend, and it was the most they'd ever seen from him.

Tinyfall would be a constant in Finchhaze's life, bringing a smile to the tom when there wasn't one to be found elsewhere. It would make him realize that he was actually falling for Tinyfall, but because he had no idea how to cope with those emotions, he shut them down and worked overtime on his duties.

One day, distracted from his usual work, and on a border patrol, Finchhaze locked himself in combat with an opposing Clan cat, who tore his tail off in the heat of the battle. It was an ugly, horrific sight, and the cats on his patrol didn't know if he would ever walk again. Thankfully, he could walk, but not without a tingling sensation near his hindquarters and phantom tail pain.
