Altha is a well-meaning and reserved individual with quick hands and an even quicker mind. Her IQ surpasses a genius level, and she often finds herself correcting her peers on a vast array of topics. Her main passion is medicine and healing, and she finds herself quite at home around people with a similar mindset to her. She is not particularly close with anyone, and the idea of intimacy scares her. Despite her extensive knowledge, Altha lacks basic social understanding and- unless something is clearly stated to her- she is unlikely to understand the emotional weight of situations. It's not that she's unattached, really... she is just a few years behind in empathy. She can become extremely agitated if someone talks at her rather than to her, or if someone becomes overly critical. In spite of her reserved nature, she is known for having a dangerously short temper when she is not working on a patient. Her work and personal attitudes are vastly different from one another.
