The youngest of three, Derrah spent her life training in her hometown under the tutelage of her mother and father. 

Her father Rayner was a warrior who fought for his kingdoms army and though he was unable to rise to acclaim he met his wife, a nobles guard, and upon leaving he found his true skill in becoming blacksmith. Her mother Elena left her position after becoming pregnant with her firstborn, a son named Reiner, and became a swordsmanship teacher. After learning from both of her parents, Derrah worked odd jobs around her hometown but after feeling as though she could be doing more. She became a bounty hunter who travels the continent.
