Personality: Kessi is very resourceful. She strives to utilise whatever resources she has to the greatest extreme that she can manage, in whatever sort of context that might be. Whatever's the most effective use of foods, of materials, of powers, of her own physical abilities...

She's a little gruff-seeming, and doesn't really care if she creates a bad impression from that, but mostly it's just that she's a bit nervous about talking, and finds it daunting. She prefers to stay quiet. It's not because she's stoic or dramatic or cold... she just has a horrendous stutter and she's socially awkward, and she's scared of looking silly or not being taken seriously by more socially competent simas - primal or not. She communicates in more subtle ways, like with her body language, or with sign language (derived between her and her friends and family) or by writing things in the air with light (and so on).

Kessi shows affection in fairly subtle ways, like in giving her friends little pats on the shoulder to show approval, and that sort of thing. Again, she doesn't really like talking very much.

She tends to make better friends with plants than with simas. She very proudly looks after her plants, giving them little pets, and practising (and failing) to talk to them so she might be better at talking to other simas later.

She's actually really romantic, and the only reason she would hurt her plants is to give flowers to her crushes or partners, or to make herself look as pretty as possible on a date. There have been simas in the past who first heard Kessi's voice when she asked them to date her, or even later than that.

She really likes playing on ice, particularly on ice floats, and playing with snow. She likes winter a lot, both from her getting to play with snow and on ice, and from her getting to snuggle up close to her friends or family.

She often makes friends first by simas who admire her flowers. Of note, that she grows flowers in a few different patches, letting them grow in the best places for their species. She regularly has kits or new tribe members investigating her flowers, and she enjoys over simas doing this.
