Background: Rudy usually will not reveal much of his past when asked about it. However, he spent a majority of his life prior to his current arrangements in an unhappy family setting that lived in a small town that promoted farming and backwards thinking. He planned on studying science for years, but at some point in high school, he realized how unhappy it made him, causing him to pick up art instead. When it came time for him to leave for college, he came out to his parents, and made a vow to move past the first part of his life and begin anew. Moving to the big city and dealing with college all on his own proved to be challenging, but he maintained a positive attitude and learned how to keep going despite all of the hardships thrown his way. Shortly after graduating, Rudy was employed at an up-and-coming indie animation studio as a storyboard artist, working on cartoons that are adult-themed in subject matter and experimental in visual style. He lives in a small and cozy apartment with Birdie.

Personality: Calm and even-headed. Does his best to be a relaxing person to be around, and gives off a vibe akin to a purring cat. In his youth, he often kept his emotional walls up to protect himself from his family chipping away at him. Rudy loves having contact with those he’s close to, preferring hugs, kisses, and other shows of affection over most other forms of communication, since small chat has a rather impersonal feel to it. However, most of his actions and interactions with others are led by a “heart over head” mentality, ensuring that he will often act rashly if something feels right, leaving him open to being hurt. Being around Birdie has taught him to be a little more cautious and think things through before making any decisions.
