Luka is an agent at a top secret, overarching organization with power and control throughout the modern world. As an agent, they work as an assassin, or hitman of sorts. When the organization needs someone dead, they're the one being sent to do the dirty work.

While not brainwashed like the other agents due to interference with training and conditioning as a child, Luka is still very limited in what they know about the world, who they work for, and themself. As well as wanting to learn about the world, they must hide their curiosity, anxieties, and pains from the organization, who monitors their every move, word, and sight through an earpiece that guides them through their jobs. If found out, Luka could be sent to be reconditioned.

They travel for their jobs with a stray cat they've grown attached to and named Darling. She keeps them company and while this is frowned upon by the organization, it keeps Luka calm and collected, so they allow it. Luka and Darling pass through the world with a terrifying amount of blindness set up by the organization to contain them and keep them a useable asset, but Luka's determined to learn about the organization, themself, and their lost brother who they believe faked his death years earlier.
