Saf is a longtime enthusiast of the supernatural. Although the O.D.D. might say they recruited her, it would be more accurate to say she let herself be recruited by them. Independent research and collating anonymous information can only get you so far, so she wanted to be somewhere that would provide good backup. The fact that she's been a big fan of their mission statement helped too.

Despite growing up as an outcast for various reasons, Saf strives to be open and empathetic even to the scariest monsters. She's no fool, however- she takes danger seriously and isn't one to rush into things without rigorous preparation.
