Equipment
Srak'an can mostly be seen in their iconic vest-and-pant combo, sporting their green-tinted welding goggles and a messenger bag. Due to their unusual body type, even throughout Astraterra, most of their clothes have had to be tailored to fit them. Double arm-holes and custom length pants are just few of the examples of these sort of modifications. Wearing gloves or shoes is also near-impossible due to their anatomy.
During colder months of the year, Srak'an prefers to either bundle up in woolen ponchos, capelets or dresses. Wearing any restrictive clothing is the most uncomfortable for them, due to their exoskeletal structure, which tends to snag on bits of fabric when moving. They keep their arms and hands bare for work, as to allow themselves a comfortable range of movement with intricate machinery and clockwork.
When adventuring, they tend to sport their usual wear along with a custom Welding Glove with inlaid tools, as well as a mandatory Camping Equipment pack on their person. When preparing for longer trips, they bring along a few Repair Kits and their Tool Bag for any nescessary repairs or fixes on the road.

Early Life
Born in the valleys of the Great Hive, Srak'an was a born just like any other e'teep. Spending their adolescense in the midst of their kind, they grew impatient and bored. They wished to see what was outside the hive, but near everyone reasurred them not to seek things beyond family, and the hive.
Growing more and more impatient over the years, Srak'an began to sneak away to excamine shipments that they knew arrived from outside of the hive. As they grew more and more intrigued by the objects sent to their hive, they began tinkering with some. It only started with a few keepsakes nobody would miss, and ended in a small explosion of the shipment crates.
After a strickt talking-to, their guardians agreed to send Srak'an outside the hives, to learn more about the world and to keep the rest of their supplies from being tampered with.
Arriving at Altum soon after the next shipment from the Hives was sent to the outside world, Srak'an was greeted with all manner of odd folk, ranging from fleshy, bipedal creatures to robots and people with features from animals they had only read about. Soon getting overwhelmed from all the colors, sights, sounds and smells, they had heard something familiar. They didn't know other e'teep had left with them from the Great Hives, so they pursued the sound in an attempt to locate whoever it was.
They soon arrived at the source of the sound, not a e'teep like they had thought, but a construct of sorts. A construct with an inside sounding like speech from back home, clicking and whirring. After curiously looking the machinery over, Srak'an was stopped by a sharp voice. As they turned, a person was standing there, with a grim disposition. "Don't touch that," she had said.
Soon after the person taught them how to properly manage machinery, after learning that Srak'an had just arrived at Altum with no prior experience outside the Great Hives. An exchanging of names and information later, Srak'an had found themselves as an apprentice to a mechanic aboard an airship.

RAMSES
Letterbug - gimmick, sender, thief, guard, tiny
A companion since childhood, Ramses is Srak'an's dedicated but mischevious letterbug.
Tagging along for any ragtag ventures of theirs, Ramses is mostly asked to deliver messages to people, with Srak'an's anxiety usually preventing them from doing it themselves. Acting as an emotional support animal of sorts, Ramses and Srak'an have forged an inseparable bond.
Ramses sports a deep-golden hue with iridescent turquoise eyes and antennae, and darker teal pincers
