I'm a mixed breed and hope to live longer because of it.

Eudora Ito Born of mixed origin, this bosomy woman still has fox blood flowing through her veins. Her mother was of greek descent, being a Teumessian Fox - also known as a Cadmean Vixen - while her father was of Japanese descent, as an ancient kitsune. She holds strong ties to both Artemis and Apollo due to her mothers bloodline as well as Momobami due to her fathers'. She cherishes both sides of her bloodline deeply, but has a special place in her heart towards her mother - who was turned to stone by Zeus before being banished into the stars as the Canis Minor constellation.

Appearance

Blessed by her mixed geneology, she has a seductive humanoid form which makes it difficult for any suitor she persues to resist her charms. It also grants her an intimidating "true" form, that of a giant fox baring three tails. She has a voluptuous body type, having perfect curves to match her large breasts and buttocks. Her eyes are piercingly sharp with a minty hue to them, providing contrast to her red makeup and facial markings. Due to her age, she bares only three tails which range from being hidden under her dress or flowing freely behind her - these tails are the same color as her hair and ears.

Design Notes:
  • Her main colors are always red and gold.
  • Her voluptuous body is absolutely required.
  • She is 6’5, please don’t make her appear short.
  • She is half Japanese and it is preffered she looks it.
  • She is of Kitsune blood, thus making her have three tails.
  • The markings on her face are permanent, unless told otherwise.

Personality

Eudora maintains a strong, femme-fatale personality. She enjoys being chased by suitors, especially knowing they'll never be able to catch and make her theirs. She can come across as cold but if you're lucky enough to get close enough for her to drop her guards, you'll see she is fiercly protective of those she cares about, her lineage and her home. She has no quarrels with using her abilities for her own gain and is known to have a strong drive for both success and wealth.

Trivia

  • Because of her kitsune blood, for every 100 years she lives she gains a new tail. However, she cannot achieve the maximum nine-tails until her 1000th birthday.
  • She has more abilities from her father compared to her mother, this is because her mother had only one - though it is considered of higher rarity and as generally useful.
  • Though she could take any form she wishes, she prefers her humanoid form unless threatened - in this situation she will take on her "true" form in order to fight or defend as needed.

Dislikes

  • Some forms of fish.
  • The cries of children.
  • Getting lost in new areas.
  • Those of fool-hearty nature.

Skills & Abilities

Elusivity
It was said that her mother was desitined to never be caught and upon her birth, Eudora inherited this rare ability. This makes it near-impossible to capture or catch her unless she chooses to be caught. The only creature known to be able keep up with her in an attempt to catch her is the dog Laelaps, who was turned to stone and banished into the stars alongside her mother.
Shapeshifting
Because her father was a kitsune, she may take on a human form, humanoid form or maintain her "true" form. This is an ability learned when she reached 100 years of age. As a common prerequisite for the transformation, she must place reeds, a leaf, or a skull over her head. Common forms she is able to assume include that of a beautiful women, young girls, elderly men and less often young boys.
Fox-Fire Manipulation
Eudora can create, shape and manipulate fox-fire which usually manifests as fire, electricity or light. Kitsune who are the main users of this power usually expel it from their mouth or tails. She is also able to use fox-fire for additional purposes, including hypnosis, draining life-force or as a form of travel, either by riding the fox-fire or changing into/becoming it.

History

Ancient tales tell of a giant fox sent by the gods to prey upon the children of Thebes as punishment for the nation’s crimes, the Teumessian Fox. What these tales do not tell of, is the fox’s lover, nor of it’s child - who seemingly didn’t exist. When the fox became aware that the Laelaps dog had been unleashed and tasked with catching her, she began to travel the world to shake it from her trail. This brought the fox to Japan, where she seeked rest at the Shrine of Momobami after stumbling upon by chance. Here she met the shrine guardian, a kitsune named Ichiro who welcomed her with reassurance that it was his task to protect the shrine, the lands it resided in, as well as all creatures within those lands. She would return to this new land to rest her head whenever given the chance, which was only when Laelaps would loose her scent and allow her to visit without risking the safety of Ichiro of the shrine.

After years of returning to Ichiro's home for refuge the pair would grow to love one another, eventually baring a child together in secrecy who would take on the name Eudora by her mother's wishes. Eudora would be raised by her father, as it was safer for her to stay with her father at Momobami’s Shrine than to return to Thebes with her Mother due to the constant chase she led from Laelaps. This became her home and she lived there with her father for hundreds of years, as he taught her the ways of the Kitsune as well as the duties of protecting their sacred lands. Her mother visited every 10 years to teach her the ways of the Teumessian Fox and helped her hone her ability to be as elusive as her Mother and Eurora would always look forward to her mother's return. On her 210th birthday however, her mother didn't return home as she always did and Eudora was tasked with looking after their home while her father left their lands to ensure his lover was safe - as this was a worrisome, unusual event.

Ichiro travelled to Thebes as an outsider, and had to rely on his omniscience to blend in with the locals. Unfortunately for him, he carried the scent of his lover and was quickly caught in the cross-fire between her and the mythic hound who was forced to hunt her. Despite his best efforts, he was captured by the beast - who brought him before Artemis. He was tortured and questioned without mercy as his kind had never been encountered before in their lands, causing concern among the gods as to what his intentions could be to tresspass into their domain. After being unable to get any information out of him - except for where he came from - Ichiro was executed by Zeus, who then turned both his lover and the hound Laelaps to stone due to the paradoxical nature of their mutually excluding abilities, before casting them into the stars as constellations. Artemis was then tasked with traveling to Momobami’s Shrine to investigate the strange creature's origin and hopefully, discover the reason for it's intrusion into their lands. This is where she stumbled upon Eudora, who was still tending to the Shrine and lands as her father instructed.

Eudora welcomed the goddess, as her father had for her mother - not knowing her intentions or what had caused her to seek out their home. It was then that Eudora spoke of her father's leaving and as the patron of young women, Artemis began to feel a great guilt and informed Eudora of her father’s demise. This enraged Eudora, who took her “true” form with the intention to fight the goddess for taking her parents from her. However, this only caused her to be immediately summoned to stand before the gods, as it was then apparent she was the offspring of two creatures who were never meant to meet - let alone bare a child. This intrigued but also further concerned them and Eudora's life was only spared because she seemed to lack the bloodlust programmed into her mother, and because Artemis promised to watch over her to ensure she was not going to cause any trouble for them. From there Artemis introduced her to Apollo, who helped train her so she could to learn how to use her abilites to heal the creatures who resides within the lands Momobami.

After she had learned all she could from Apollo, she returned back home to take her fathers place as the Shrine Guardian. Thanks to the two gods she became known as the Patron of Momobami, granting her protection from the other gods should she ever choose to return to their lands. However, she only enjoys visiting the island of Delos, where she owns a small home to rest her head whenever she wishes to give thanks Artemis and Apollo for everything they'd done for her. Here she has altars set up for the pair, in order to get ahold of them should she ever require their assistance or guidance. Thus, ending the tale of the unlikely Patron of Momobami, who is rumored to still float between her two homes in order to learn as much as she can of her mixed cultural identities as well as the world around them. It is said she can be spotted at Momobami's shrine at dusk and dawn or on the coasts of Delos during the day and night - but it is unknown whether these rumors are confirmed or if they're just, folklore spread by the people of the two lands.
