❝ Personality ❞

She's grumpy, anti-social, and reluctant to leave her designated library, She's not easy to get along with to say the least. Unfortunately for her she is a bit of a medical prodigy so Laura rarely gets the peace she craves.  

It's not a fast process, but she does occasionally grow fond of people despite her best efforts, and tends to be more agreeable and outwardly helpful towards them.  She is, however, horrible at showing affection as she is easily embarrassed and painfully distrustful.

She seems to be most pleasant with the fairies that tend to the books of the Royal Library, as they all share the same love.

❝ Background ❞
Laura was born in a small village near the sea and grew up under the fist of her alcoholic father. From dawn to dusk she worked at the docks, doing any odd job a child could be paid for. But at night she read books she had been given by the village teacher, teaching herself the alphabet and how to string words together. Most of the books centered around wildlife and the countries terrain. That was all she needed.

At the tender age of eleven, Laura left her village and her father for the road. She traveled for years, doing her best to go unnoticed; but her skills with herbs grew as she used them on the injured and ill she encountered. Not long after her fifteenth birth day she was offered a royal invite to the Capital as been working there as a Royal Healer ever since. Of course, she does her best to avoid her duties and hide in the library.
