Videl

The Pikachu of Viridian Forest used to be rare, a special encounter that came by surprise. The modern reputation of the Pikachu is so much more domestic and quaint than they truly are. Elusive and wild, the electric rats can't be tamed -  SHOULDN'T be tamed. And their greater counterpart the Raichu deserves far more reverence than they have ever gotten from the Pikachu loving public. Or, that's what Videl insists. 

She talks a lot of talk about the traditions of her people but Videl is a bit unconventional. Most Raichu don't practice martial arts. And when she receives praise from her trainer she looks pretty domesticated. The rest of the Fire Red adventure team enjoys her weirdo enthusiasm and lets her ramble on as she wishes. 

Megan's other Raichu, Momo from Sapphire, is absolutely terrified of Videl.
