"Hmmm~? You are wondering why I talk like thissssss? Well... I'm the Ultimate SSSSSSSSnake Gamer, haha! I need to be one with the ssssssneeeeeeksssss to win! But I can be alsssssso other animalssss! I like animalssss.... They are very fun!!" Who wouldn’t know about the “Retro SSSnake” in these times, eh? The Retro Game channel with 1 million subscribers in 2040, after experiencing a sudden boom of popularity due to nostalgia, where you can see reviews, hints, tips and glitches of many old games! But who’s the creator of it? Well, well, well! It is everyone’s favourite, neighbourhood snake on a motorcycle - Nidhogg Strand! However, Nidhogg also has a second channel called “DID4ALL”, which is a channel(with less of a following, but still standing at an amazing 500,000 subscribers), where he, along with his alters called Regine and Tora Nimer, debunks and shares the truth about DID. On one of his qna videos, he said that the reason he created it was to “SSsssstop the hate and missssconceptssssionssss about DID! I’ve experienced hate because of it, tssss, sssso I want to help people learn more, tss tss tss!” - with a noble cause like this, he inspired many people all around the globe! He received his talent of ‘Ultimate Retro Gamer’ somewhere on May 4th of 2040, though he often calls himself the ‘Ultimate Snake Gamer’ due to his high expertise of the classic ‘Snake’ game. Weeeell… Outside of his attire- He has short, light-brown and a pair of shining green eyes, along with a set of two small fangs that are often visible with many of his smiles. Outside of that, he has pale skin and is rather short and thin, thin enough to make it seem as if he could be blown away by just a simple gust of Norwegian wind. The most eye-catching thing about him is his aforementioned attire, which has been popularized due to his Youtube Channel. Nidhogg is a proud wearer of a light-green hood that has yellow eyes belonging to a snake, along with a slithered, red, tongue that’s often seen dangling off of his hood. The hood is kept together with a ribbon, as the rest of the hood takes a shape of a poncho-like fabric, with a slit in the middle, a retro logo in the left corner and a big, long, snake tail with a rattling end made to represent one of a rattling snake; he also wears brown, leather, fingerless gloves, to help with his grip. Underneath the custom-made hood, he wears a yellow T-shirt with short sleeves and a set of black shorts with white straps. Lastly, he wears white ankle socks and a set of trainers that are ready to take him wherever his legs can take him! PersonalityIt is a common fact that Nidhogg is a rather childish and immature person, despite his age and the fact that he is legally allowed to drive a motorcycle - but it’s just his charm. He’s always smiling, easily excitable and is simply trying to live his best life while also spreading awareness about misconceptions of DID via his second youtube channel! As a host of his system, he is the alter that is the most well known to the public, due to his sociable and active nature. The two alters that often appear alongside him in public are Regine and Tora Nimer(with Regine appearing on his DID channel and Tora appearing on his Retro Gaming channel); Regine is, as one would call, a ‘mom’ of the system, as she is caring and calm, always ensuring that each alter is safe, alongside those around her. She is very capable, being able to cook and figure out solutions to problems. However, one of her flaws is that she is very argumentative - if she believes that she’s right, she will continue to argue until she’ll prove it, or the other party will give up. And lastly, Tora Nimer is an adventurous alter just like Nidhogg! However, while Nidhogg is more like a child, Tora is a protective hero and a leader of the system, taking charge with Regina to make sure that all of the alters are safe and aren’t being hurt in any way. However, in contrast to Regine, who prefers to simply talk things out, Tora isn’t afraid to jump to his claws in order to protect himself and others. Of course, he won’t go as far as hurting someone lethally, but he won't hesitate to incapacitate them if they are seen as a threat.
