Mayhem

In demonology, Mayhem (other classifications: Ink Demon, Hellcat) is a powerful Sovereign, being the ruler of at least thirty-six legions of demons. Additionally, she is also the resulting offspring between a Hellcat and a Saintess, effectively making her blood diluted with both demonic and angelic heritage. She is unpredictable, opportunistic, and docile until provoked. Mayhem produces uncontrollable bursts of fiery electrical beams, sonic booms, and pulse waves, provokes strong emotional responses in other creatures, and defies the physics of most realities.

Mayhem belongs to an elusive subspecies of demons called Hellcats. They take the shape of numerous types of felines, but can possess wings, horns, extra limbs, or anything they desire. Hellcats are fueled by mischief, fury, and dominance. Until recently it was assumed that Mayhem was the last of her species.

Behavior is like that of the common house feline with the intelligence of your average human (she picked up habits from loitering on Earth). She's colorful and full of expression, will gesture with her tail & wings while communicating. She also has a nasty habit of splitting her jaw when she wants to frighten someone, or when she loses her temper. 

Vocalizations include synthetic, electronic growls, hums, screams, and purrs in various pitches and tones. When idle it is sometimes possible to hear an electrical-like hum emanating from inside her chest, completely unconfirmed whether this is a purr or just her breathing. When she sleeps, gets ill, or severely wounded her vent lights will dim. and the hum will slow and almost stop completely. 

She can heal self-inflicted body modifications (jaw splitting, limbs contorting) seamlessly within seconds, but when wounded by outside sources she will bleed a black gooey substance and will take longer to regenerate. When under stress or pressure the black splotched markings will grow in size, turning most of her fur black. This is reversible and can take up to a week to return to normal.

Her eye, tongue, and vent colors will change depending on whichever intense mood she is feeling (blue = sad, green = jealousy, red = angry etc). She can also change her colors willingly if she wants to, although it is a rare occurrence.
