Her Majesty Queen Sardonyx is the mascot of Sol Royale Circus. No one is sure how old she is, but she has been around a long time.

She stumbled across the circus when she was a fairly young cat, her original home lost. The members at the time took care of the shiny she-cat and spoiled her rotten. They named her Sardonyx thanks to her glossy banded fur, being one of the rare shadowcats with fur.

Over the years, Sardonyx became the mascot of the circus, being everywhere and being friends with about anyone who treated her with respect. She's easily one of, if not, the cuddliest circus cats. Her presence and the ease of taking care of her prompted the Troupe to adopt more strays.

With the new strays, male cats eventually got taken in the Troupe, and Sardonyx soon was carrying her first litter. Nervously, she reared and raised her first young, and she grew extremely fond of motherhood. She'd adopt stray kittens and young cats anytime she isn't with litter, and even at times she's with one.

Her gentle nature and maternal instinct caused the Troupe members to call her ''Her Majesty Queen Sardonyx'', since Sardonyx behaved very much like a benevolent queen around the cats. The Circus is her Queendom and she'll take care of everyone in it, offspring or not.

She has had so many litters that a considerable chunk of stray cats in the Twilight Realm can be traced back to her, and that amount is only growing with every generation.

Sardonyx gets called ''Queenie'' so often, to the point most newer members don't know her actual name.

And that's how a lone, yet pretty, stray became the Queen of the Sol Royale Circus.
