PROFILE
She's someone trying to recover from a history of overly strict, domineering parents who judged her for how she turned out. She works for her uncles exporting business by driving goods back and forth to companies and the docks, and loves her job. Some of the other employees are especially nasty towards her, since they believe she's more likely to get a raise or promotion, but she doesn't let that stop her! She has a love of almost everything, and is always bright and warm. She's the welcoming person you could meet.
She also has almost zero backbone, lets people walk all over her and has the most trouble standing up for herself..

JV is a highly cooperative person who advocates for everyone to get along and be kind to all, even if people aren't kind back to you. She is never someone to judge others based on first assumptions and believes everyone is capable of doing good, no matter who they are. Always waking up at dawn with a smile on her face, she finds it easier to move threw life trying your best to keep positive as much as possible, but in a unhealthy way. JV represses her negative feelings until they bubble under the surface, but she has hardly ever acted out. Most of JV's optimistic outlook on life can be boiled downed to a cheery facade used to bog down emotions she has trouble handling well.
JV is easily the most open minded person to be born in her family lineage. Most of her family is into fishing and boat jobs, just like her. Though she wishes they would widen their perspectives, she is respectful of their decisions. She puts a lot of effort into being agreeable (ventures into being overly compliant and causes difficulty for her to add boundaries).
When she earned the trucking job from her uncle, she was very grateful and made a conscious effort to not take advantage of the position she is in.

JV is one that is readily nervous and panicked in pressing situations, though her positive barrier is difficult to break threw. She exudes almost no backbone and constantly will bend over backwards to please others if it makes them happy, neglecting herself in the same way her parents often did. Most of her solutions to problems are to impractical and overly simple. She can be pretty anxious when interacting with people such as Pandora or Sawyer, two examples of people who's personality could overrule hers easily. Her people pleasing habits also annoy some people (calisto) to no end and she gets berated for it. Her happy go lucky ways are superficial walls she built up so she wouldn't have to deal with feelings of resentment, apprehension and guilt.
When she was a younger child, around 11 years old, her outlook wasn't nearly as positive as it is now. She had always felt drained all the time with no motivations. She was a serious bully, always trying to intimidate other children, and she picked on the weak. She was a disrespectful towards everyone and even swore at her parents.

Sawyer was the one to originally plan out the raiding, and JV has seen him since then seen him as a plain old criminal. She has given him infinite chances, anyway. Anytime he tries to get closer to her, Sawyer ends up unintentionally setting them apart even further. JV always expresses disappointment in him.
Beckett
Friends/goal affiliated
The detective who had decided to give her aide in the search, they both get along very well. They act like the best of friends, even if Beckett can be a little indifferent towards JV's feelings. Beckett might have a thing for JV, but he won't admit it.
Calisto
Hate/confusion (One sided enemies)
JV doesn't really understand why, but Calisto absolutely despises her. She tries to make an effort to build a friendship with him, but he's to difficult to let it happen. He wants to see JV break down, eventually.
