The Shadowed Guide
Ichanil’s leadership and demeanor have given the Revelers their most prosperous era. He has led the clan longer than any of his predecessors, even longer than Comet once did. Their number has grown exponentially in size, and their once humble lair is now a large, sprawling city, nestled beneath the thorns and brambles of the Shadow lands, nestled in a deep crevasse in the ground.
With the clan so large, he has selected a council of four others to help spread out the duties and give him some actual free time. Most of which is spent with his son or with his birds in the aviary. He doesn’t participate in revels any more, but knows their importance to the clan. His son hosts the largest one each year, the Trickmurk Revel, taking his place while Icthanil prefers to spend the festival in the Forum of the Obscured Crescent--as close to his goddess as he can get--idly talking aloud of the year’s events and what troubles him. Rarely does he get an answer.

Skills
Liquid Shadow
Icthanil has full control over the ichor that leaks from his body, though it is a byproduct of his real power, its prescence and his control over it has convinced many a Reveler that he was chosen by the ShadowBinder herself to lead.
Theoretically Impossible
Icthanil's true power is the result of the Reveling Decay which infected him as a kid. In a paradox of reality itself, his magical core is endless. He tires easily physically, but he will never tire due to magic use. Complex spells which require a lot of energy from the caster are easy for him to cast if he has everything else needed.
Sight Without Seeing
Though blind entirely, Icthanil can sense magic through his skin. Over his many years, he has learned to sense even the inherent magic in stones and grass... and in death. No one interrupts him when he mourns the death of one of his birds.
Past
Once, long ago, he was a timid, fearful boy. A lost hatchling in Plague, found by a much younger Puck. He was taken in under the larger coatl’s wing and given the Reveling Decay, a disease crafted in the WyrmWound by Comet herself. A disease crafted as a test for new members of the then-Plague clan. It wracked his body for weeks. And when it was over he felt himself changed. His body weaker, his sight gone, and a honey-thick substance spilling from his eyes, mouth, even his ears, and strange new pores along his shoulders, back, and thighs. The substance was black and stained like ink. Up close, a faint shimmer can be seen, like the farthest stars in the sky. A great puddle of it would appear to be the night sky spread out like a blanket.
But his mind, too, was changed. He could feel a power seep from his fingertips, he could feel the distant stars and hear their songs. Even if he could no longer see as others did, he could feel the presence of magic. Feel the beating pulse of elements from those around him. A power that was held captive within for many, many years after, as the clan abhorred what he had become, some members even actively lashing out at him, and he suppressed his ability. He often travelled away from the clan for long periods.
During this time of his life, he met Sembrel. The one dragon he has ever loved. You would never get him to admit it, of course. But any mate he's ever claimed since has fallen short of the ache he feels when a death seeker alights a branch in the aviary. He can still hear the flutter of feathers and the crash of the ocean against the Reaches. The soft, unsure voice of the Ravenseer as they grew closer.
It wasn't to last. The day would come that Puck, his leader and father figure, put himself between two deranged Guardians and the clan as they fled their old home. The day the night sky swallowed two guardians in broad daylight. Icthanil has led the clan since... And has not had the time to chase heartache.

Links
Cross
Icthanil will never forget the day he felt the magic of his son form in the aftermath of his fight with Ichor. He would give his life for the faeish dragon the world blessed him with.
Awyn
Upon discovery of one another, The Revelers and The Archive have always been at odds. Currently, they stand at a tense truce, both in agreement to leave one another alone, though only because one of Icthanil's brothers, Scratch, is a member of The Archive.
Puck
Though they have and always will have arguments and inherent differences in opinion, Icthanil will always love the dragon who raised him. There is some resentment about how the former leader did not stand up for his son in childhood, he does his best to forgive him.
