Momo is a young fox anima raised as a spy in the royal city. For her first solo assignment, she is tasked with going to a small wolf anima town that has supposedly been taken over by bandits. She nearly gets caught, but ends up rescued by the town's refugees. She's got a sparky personality, and though she tries to be levelheaded and calculating like her mother, she often acts on impulse and gets herself into trouble.

Merrick is the pack leader's son. He is brave and loyal, but has some mental issues to work through. He is very gentle and welcoming.

Shiro is an arctic fox anima. He's Merrick's adopted brother, and has lived with the wolf pack for his whole life. He thinks Momo is annoying, but frustratingly cute.
