Lanying Ning

Small and delicate looking like a china doll, this young Dasher was born deformed and disabled.  Abandoned as a baby, she was picked up by a desert Crafter inventor and engineer who raised her as his own.  He is also the own who built her prosthetic arms and all their attachments.  Her father affectionately calls her "Lannie" instead of her full name, as well as "Princess" and a number of other little nicknames.

She is still young, only about twelve, but because of her disability she most likely won't grow to be much taller than she is now.  This hasn't stopped her from wanting to help her father out around the shop, carrying parts and tools here and there as well as going out and scavenging parts from abandoned Shooter vessels.  She was born with a smaller than average headgem and thus her innate magic is weak; her father has found a way to circumnavigate this and use the prosthetics he's made for her to use her weaker magic and actually draw in the magic around her.  The arms have various attachments and can pack quite the punch (if and when Lannie is able and ready to use these upgrades).  Lannie is quiet and because of her limited interaction with other Stardragons, doesn't have much speaking ability either.  This doesn't mean she is shy however; contrary she tends to just "show up" when you least expect it and scare the beejegus out of people.  Her large eyes unnerve others as she stares unblinkingly at them and then will just walk without so much as a word.
