Bujin-Pyeo

Bujin-Pyeo is influenced from the korean phrase for "broken bone". The character is commonly called Pyeo which would technically sound like the korean word for "bone". Apart from the exposed, broken and displaced bones in her design, she got her name from constantly striving for her goal regardless of what she breaks. This is very common to the phrase "alot of backbone". 

Pyeo is Moribund, which means she is "at the point of death", however she is immortal, unable to die. She is stuck in a continuos near the point of death state and cannot recover, leaving her in extreme pain constantly. 

Bujin-Pyeo represents everything broken or destroyed in terms of one's self. It refers to blunt trauma mostly as well penetrating trauma. While striving for her goal, Pyeo ends up wounding herself and since her body doesnt technically heal, as she continues while ignoring her traumas, it gets worse and worse until she becomes unappealing to look at, a "monster".
