FOUNTAINHEAD PALACE - sekiro ost

deep sea river

Preceding the dawn of existence, a cosmic dance of creation unfurled. Aether and Hemera—christened the primordial deities or celestial architects—bestowed a sacred charge upon Solum. Eight progenies, sculpted in their founder’s likeness, emerged to govern and shepherd the nascent lands of this immature planet. Even as we speak, the immortal guardians reside within the sanctuary of the Divine Realm amongst their kin, remaining but a whispered tale below, in the domain of mortals they delicately observe. The vast and trecherous oceans were bestowed upon the third progeny—Mael: the Dragon God of the Seas.

Mythos describes a creature of boundless majesty; its form a sinuous river of darkness winding through the depths, its scales gleaming obsidian beneath the shifting currents. Fangs as long as spears protrude from its maw, glinting like shards of midnight against the backdrop of the abyss, while waves of water seem to pour through its serpentine body—a constant reminder of its dominion over the oceans. Mael’s very essence is intertwined with the ebb and flow of the tides.

In the heart of the sea, where the sunlight dims and the pressure mounts, lies the fabled city ruled by this enigmatic deity—a place akin to Atlantis in its grandeur and mystery, a home to various beings of all kinds. Here, beneath the surface—below the weight of countless leagues of water—the Dragon God holds court, its domain a shimmering metropolis beneath the waves.

To behold Mael is to witness the tremendous power of nature personified, a force of primordial chaos and order entwined in a single, awe-inspiring form. And though its ways may be as inscrutable as the depths it calls home, its presence serves as a reminder of the vast and wondrous tapestry of existence in which we are all but fleeting threads.
