Beowulf is a homebody who is relatively calm most of the time. However, he absolutely despises loud noises and cannot focus whenever the background noise is too chaotic. He is mostly quiet around strangers, but he is actually pretty snappy and somewhat easy to annoy around friends. It is painfully obvious that he is quite vain when it comes to his successful record keeping, though, and regardless of how well he knows you, he will defend his writing loudly and annoyingly should you insult his skill.

He has written the most expansive and accurate documentation of the war on his island, and he is fully aware of it. With an expansive library of history constantly being created at his fingertips, he's the ideal person to contact should you need a Verenheim history lesson.

He hates Caleb, a fellow historian. The two often argue about why certain wars or battles were caused or the impacts of past kings and queens on the island.
