- His full first name is "Theodric." He hates it.
- Bad relationship with his family. Not abusive, but they do not get along.
- Left a lot of unpaid debts in Halo when he skipped town, and a few in the Hollowed Grounds when he moved on from there.
- Using the last name "Caldwell" for now, but he'll happily discard it if he has to.
- Thinking his actual origin is that he's the bastard son of a Halovian nobleman who never acknowledged him in the slightest and a servant woman who would do anything to get ahead.

Notes to self:

If people start asking too many questions about him being a Launceleyn, his fallback will be to "confide" in them that he's actually a runaway who didn't want to follow the other Launceleyns in the "skilled mage" business -- he has a free soul, he'll claim, and just wants to make music. He'll use this ruse to explain why his "mission" is so nebulous and then beg them to keep his "secret."

He's like an onion but all the layers are lies.
