Summary
Fuji is a 1st year idol in the academy, but she and Tropical Vapor had been independent school idols before audiotning for the academy! Tempted by the fad of school idols, Fuji made her attempt in middle school to begin Tropical Vapor but ultimately lacked the knowldge needed to grow, therefore failing her first attempt of being an idol. After said flop though, she was quick to bring up the acadmey to her groupmates and suggest they apply together. Her ambitious and passionate nature always influence those around her and has allowed her to pass through the academy curriculum with flying colors!
Before Tropical Vapor
Fuji was never in another idol group before beginning Tropical Vapor, only really having the knowledge of an idol fan in the making. She grew up during the digital age and has always been a bit of a social media guru. In general, Fuji has a pretty normal personal life. Plenty of friends and family, a nice house in a nice neighborhood, she doesn't have much to complain about. Though, she's always disliked her name, feeling that "Sakura" wasn't fitting to her.
Family
Fuji lives with her parents and older brother, Takahiro! Despite their realatively small direct family, the Fujimotos have an extremely large extended family. Although large, they keep in close contact with one another and Fuji has met almost all 25 of her 1st and 2nd cousins, who happen to be just as boisterous and energetic as her. Fuji considers many of her friends to be her family as well and invloves them in quite a few of the Fujimoto's familial gatherings, where they're welcomed with open arms!
Personality
Fuji is a bubbly, ambitious girl ready to take on what life throws at her! It's hard for her to take "no" as answer as he attaches herself to her own rather far-fetched ideas, though she surprises many with her resourcefulness when reaching for those goals. Fuji is the type to bring others up with with her and dislikes upsetting most, though sometimes she can be a bit oblivious to their oppinions of her. With her upbeat nature and idol-ish attitude, most would assume her interest are just that! However...
Fuji is what some might call "chronically online"... Growing up in the digital age with easy access to the internet, Fuji was intoduced to the culture of the early 2000's internet in her childhood and has been hooked ever since! She's quite the social media guru and an expert on online aesthetic subcultures, leaning into the vaporwave ot cyberpunk side of things. Fuji's vocabulary and comedic-sense reflect this the most and has the tendency to throw people for a loop, not quite expecting her to quote some of the things she does.
