In Tropical Vapor

Mimi didn't have much interest in music and idols, but despite this she follwed Fuji into her pursuit immediately. Though they started work in middle school, Tropical Vapor had an immense failure and deeply hurt her. After some healing time and conversations with the ever-optomistic Emiko, the group tried out for Gushiken. Now, Mimi feels comfortable in a school that embraces diversity and pushes her out of her comfort zone!

Because of her athletic background, she and Emiko help out with training the idols of TV! With some help from their mentor Rei, the girls are getting in shape for theor idol duty quickl and efficiently! Being a leader in that setting has benefitted Mimi much more than she could have imagined, finding confidence in making decisions in the group and her own choices in her idol journey. Aside from her athletics, Mimi writes poems as a hobby, some even being used as lyircs to Tropical Vapor's songs! Though, she's a little embarrased to admit they're hers.

In Class

Mimi is in cas 1A, along with Suzu, Charlie, Ichika, and Emiko. She's also in the soccer club with her middle school soccer buddy Emiko! She's a well-rounded student with good grades and manners in class! Although shy, she's polite and mature to those around her and tries her best to get over the anxiety of talking to her peers. In class 1B, she's comfortable with Chinatsu, who has a similar demeanor.

Past

Mimi, often referred to as Miami, is a soft spoken kind soul, although slight;y shy. Sakura convinced her to become and idol during junior high, but ater an immense failure she swallowed her fears and self doubt and agreed to retry in a more professional setting. Mimi had already delt with a busy schedule, but she ended up dropping quite a few activities after deciding being an idol was more important. For the sake of her friends, she continued on the path until the very end of Tropical Vapor and stuck around for their second chance.

Mimi played many other sports during her time before idols came around. But, her favorite was soccer! She had played it since grade school and met many of her close friends during her time playing, even Emiko, who introduced her to the rest of Tropical Vapor! From then, she shared her knowledge of stamina building and lyrical abilities to the group. After putting her time and work into the group, TV bombed and left Mimi feeling unsure of her abilities and dedication, taking a lot of healing before even thikig of auditioning for Gushiken Academy.
